Another story to reinforce my belief that public schools are basically holding tanks for future criminals to keep them confined during the daytime hours until they age out.
CPS student gets 5 years for bringing a machine gun to school (but he won’t serve any actual prison time)
“Student” is pretty generous as you will see….
A former Chicago Public Schools student has been sentenced to five years in prison for bringing a loaded machine gun to school, but he is not expected to spend any time in an actual prison.
Marquis Terry, 20, pleaded guilty to possession of a machine gun in exchange for the sentence from Judge Kenneth Wadas. However, after receiving a variety of sentencing credits, Terry is not expected to spend any time in prison.
Didja catch the part where he is….20 years old and still considered a “student”?
The case began on March 20, 2024, when Terry, then 19, was sent home from a field trip with his classmates at Association House High School, 1116 North Kedzie, in Humboldt Park. A Chicago Police Department arrest report said Terry was sent home from the outing in an Uber for “disruptive behavior” that prosecutors said involved smoking marijuana.
That afternoon, the school’s principal searched Terry’s locker, expecting to find more marijuana. Instead, prosecutors said, the principal opened a backpack and discovered a loaded .45-caliber Glock pistol with an extended ammunition magazine and a “switch” device — an illegal attachment that allows pistols to generate automatic gunfire. Police said the gun had been reported stolen from Henderson, Kentucky.
A Glock in .45 ACP with a “switch”? You let that thing rip and the bullets are going to go all over creation. In what will come as a surprise to all of you, his “school” with the weird name of “Association House” is ranked 1 out of 10 by Great Schools with a graduation rate of around 38% and of course demographics that look like this:
I would bet that if you searched every locker at that “school” you would come up with enough weapons to outfit a WW II battalion. It looks like a “school” of last resort and that is saying something in Chicago.
Anyway, even though this punk was busted with an illegal firearm and one equipped to turn it into a “machine gun”, he isn’t likely to see more prison time.
Court records show Terry was already on juvenile probation for aggravated vehicular hijacking in Illinois and on parole in Indiana for felony resisting.
Terry’s five-year sentence will be automatically reduced by 50% for good behavior under state law. He also earned 900 days of credit toward the sentence since by being in the county jail and participating in programs over the past 17 months, according to court records.
“Aggravated vehicular hijacking” is what I believe is more commonly known as “car jacking”. Also, how is a sentence “automatically reduced” for good behavior? It sounds like you get credit for good behavior regardless of how you act. That will show these punks!
Make no mistake, if you or I get caught with a stolen Glock (“Police said the gun had been reported stolen from Henderson, Kentucky.”) with a full auto switch, you are going to a Federal slammer for a decade plus time for the stolen gun. I get notices from the ATF every week bragging about someone getting 10 years in the pen for having a machine gun. Not this guy, he is likely already back on the streets.
What does the future hold for Marquis Terry? He has multiple arrests in his teens that we know of in at least two states that we know of, including a car jacking, and had a full auto .45 in his damn locker at school.
To put it bluntly, the future for Marquis Terry is either him being killed by someone that looks just like him or being incarcerated for the long haul when he inevitably really hurts someone. Instead of getting time for for “good behavior”, he should swing from a rope before he kills some innocent person or fathers 6-8 little future felons. There isn’t a long list of people who are better off because this guy is free and breathing.
Just think of how many more Marquis Terry’s are out there eagerly waiting for the chance to rob, rape, assault or murder someone.

Sent home from a field trip? Where do these thugs go on these field trips? What possible interest does this young “scholar” have in anything educational? Lots of questions unanswered in this ridiculous news report delivered without any irony at all.

It was Montessori when I went there as a lil’ shaver.
Now it has rainbow agitprop and free government sugartit lunches and gear passed out.
Fortunately, he didn’t get a chance to chimp out with it.

Now I’m not in support of nor advocating for the type of thing that happened in the court system… Far from it! But I do enjoy mental masturbation, ergo it begs the question…
What to do with these individuals?
I’m open to any and all ideas. Kill ’em? Law won’t let us do that wholesale, for better or worse. They exist, are living, breathing, eating. Can’t/Won’t work, wouldn’t want them on your employ even if they were! So what do we do? They keep breeding, like a cancer, the tumor just grows and grows.
That’s before we even discuss what to do with Africa! There’s a whole continent full of people that can’t/won’t feed themselves! I’m all for letting them go their own way, have at it, Wakanda forever! But what about the population that already exists here in the US? What are we to do with them? They will forever be a cancer on white-western society, but we can’t use Chemo. What are we to do?
Make them all pay their own way, which mightoughta straighten a few of them out. Which in turn might curb some of the breeding, and slow down the rate at which the public coffers are raided to treat their std’s. The rest will die in firefights.
The only way America survives is if there is a massive change in demographics politically and ethnically. And we know that is not going to happen.

What to do? Simple. Convict them, and sentence them to X number of years, OR give them the option to renounce their citizenship, with a one time $20,000 payment and a one way coach ticket to any country that would accept them.

What do you suppose day-to-day life is like for the 2% of the students in that school who identify as white? One of the prerequisites of running for a second term in Congress should be that your children and grandchildren must attend a school with the same demographics. We wouldn’t need term limits.

Over the last 17 months (~520 days) the ambitious scholar ‘earned’ 900 days of credit toward his already discounted prison term. What a busy little beaver has been the not-so-young M. Terry-of-the-Glock-Switch! Such eagerness to reform his life is laudable and I am sure this fellow has a bright future ahead of him.
On a more serious note, I wonder what those prison “programs” consisted of, that his participation in them effectively shaved literal years off his sentence. I envision meetings with some do-gooding, middle-aged, virtue-whoring White lady pastor, who begged the scoundrel to reconsider his errant ways while he sat, sullen and scowling with arms folded angrily across his chest, daydreaming about raping the naïve fool.
