There was a “mass stabbing” in Traverse City, Michigan recently. TC used to be a really nice summer destination, kind of higher end because it is on the west side of the Lower Peninsula which tends to be more hoity toity and it isn’t far by car or plane from Chicago. The east side of the Lower Peninsula where I grew up vacationing and my parents owned a home on Black Lake was a lot more working class. I-75 is kind of the dividing line and if you have been to TC, Petoskey and Harbor Springs (West Side) and also places like Cheboygan and Alpena (East Side) you know what I mean. Anyway, I digress.
Some loony dude stabbed something like 11 people, some quite severely, in the Traverse City Walmart using what looks like a decent sized folding knife. Not exactly an ideal weapon but it worked. He was eventually corralled and controlled by some shoppers until the cops showed up. This picture caught my eye of the Good Guy With A Gun…

Given their stereotypical lack of precision when shooting, it is probably best the situation was resolved without him having to bust a few caps because who knows who or what he might have hit.
