The alleged shooter of Brian Thompson is arrested….at a McDonald’s?

Police have identified a 26-year-old Maryland man as the suspect in last week’s assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, who was shot from behind outside a New York City Hilton hotel hours before a shareholder conference Wednesday.
Luigi Nicholas Mangione was arrested in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Monday morning after witnesses spotted him and thought he matched the suspect on a wanted poster. Police responded to the location for reports of a person matching the description of the man wanted for questioning in Thompson’s murder, but Altoona police said they initially took him into custody on unrelated charges.
High-level law enforcement sources told Fox News and Fox News Digital that he had a “ghost gun” similar to the suspected murder weapon, a suppressor and a fake ID in his possession when taken into custody. The Associated Press also reported he had writings critical of the healthcare industry.

From what information I have seen online so far, the recently arrested New York UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting suspect, Luigi Mangione, appears to have political interests ranging from Silicon Valley tech optimists and NRX, intellectual dark web centrists, anti-DEI, the HBD sphere, plus interest in the Unabomber’s Manifesto. A lot of normie conservatives are lying about Mangione being a leftist and I wonder if his anti-DEI stances will cost him sympathy from leftists, who have made him out to be a modern day Robin Hood.
Is this guy some Ted Kaczynski with better hygiene or something? He went to U Penn and attended a place called Gilman, a private high school with annual tuition of $37,690 so he apparently comes from money I guess.

Assuming we can believe any of that…well, shit. A dago with wealthy parents goes rogue? Was someone in his family killed by the denial of a claim (at least as he sees it?) I still doubt we ever get the straight story. Keeping attention on this guy too long will get more people to thinking about how easy it might be to exact some vengeance. He still has the possibility of coming off as a folk hero with the right backstory. Especially since this guy did it on a shoestring travel budget, and his weapon of choice was probably his single biggest expense. Much weirdness in this entire scenario.
It’s one of those things…they’ve been wrong so often on so many things that I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re wrong this time.
