The moment when the guy came out to tell Clinton’s supporters that she would not be making a statement and they all realized that meant she was fucked was simply amazing. The whole “glass ceiling” thing at the venue made it just that much better. That angry Jewish guy, Ricardo Maddow, going from smug to stunned, is must see TV. I could watch it over and over.

The shock and outrage in 2016 leading up to the inaugural riots was something of a slow burn. People were legitimately stunned. Killary herself famously wondered….
It took a little time for them to really understand that Trump had won and they slowly started building up to the fury we saw at the inauguration.

I have brought this up before but it bears repeating. When Barack Obama won his first term in 2008, I remember the next morning on my way to work getting gas. I looked over at another White guy around my age and we both, without saying a word, shook our heads in disgust and shrugged. Then we finished fueling up and went to work. That is what adults do.
Less than a week out from the “election” and it is looking grim for Cumala Whorris and Tampon Tim Walz. Trump hasn’t even run a very good campaign but four years of high gas prices, an open southern border, towns being taken over by the dumbest people in the world, out of control crime and soaring inflation makes his case better than he ever could. Throw in the lawfare and the two assassination attempts and people seem to be sick to death of Bidenomics and being told what to do by the “elites”.
Even when Cumala supporters were trying to make an issue out of some random comedian making fun of Puerto Rico, that very afternoon right before Cumala was to make her “closing argument” her boss (the one that was unceremoniously shoved aside in favor of her) came out and called Trump supporters garbage. Sucked all the air out of the room. I sorta think he did that on purpose in some deep reptilian part of his decayed brain.
If things continue on this trajectory we will go into election night next week with Trump expected to win, unlike 2016 where no one was saying he would win. It should be very interesting to see what the talking heads are saying this weekend on the Sunday shows. While the hardened skeptic in me is dominant, the political junkie is still finding all of this very fascinating.
Perhaps if Trump “wins” next week, the Left will be resigned to it already and just be dejected. Or perhaps They will unleash the hordes of obese purple haired chicks and noodle armed soyboys in black to start burning right away. I think the latter is more likely, these people are insane and ready to start burning again. They have been held in check for four years but during that time the specter of the Orange Man has been front and center in their minds. They wake up and go to Facebook immediately to find some way to talk about Trump no matter the topic. It is their entire raison d’être, their only reason for existing is to screech at the Orange Man on a daily basis. Do you think those people are going to just simply accept the “results” and move on with their empty lives?
I have been saying for more than a year now that we are in a golden period where guns are available and cheap, stores are stocked up and everything is hunky dory but that window might come slamming shut sooner than later. Next Tuesday has been on the radar for years now and that time is drawing close. Maybe I am wrong, perhaps They will manage to cheat enough to pull this thing out for Cumala although it will be watched more closely this time. Or perhaps Orange Man will win and the Left will simply not have enough energy to do more than complain on Facebook.
One thing I do know, it is better to be prepared for the worst and be pleasantly surprised than to be unprepared and unpleasantly surprised.
No matter which side “wins”, the losing side is not going to accept the results. If Cumswalla wins, the normiecons will complain on X and return to their wage slave jobs. At most they will engage in some personal, passive Irish Democracy. I have a hope that I don’t dare give too much credence. That hope I gather from reading lots of comments at places like Gateway Pundit which is normiecon central. I read the comments to get a gauge on where the Overton Window is. And I gauge that there are more than a few people have come to the conclusion that a kinetic resolution is the only resolution.
If Trump wins, I don’t think the left will just be dejected. They have already shown they are willing to commit large volumes of violence. They are convinced the normiecons are litterally Hitler. The left is indeed insane, and their POV is ff your opponent is literally Hitler, it is your moral obligation to destroy them. I think there will be violence.
TGP is more bommer-con central, as the comments section is chock full of things like, “The law specifically states.” As well as gems like, “Can you imagine if a republican did/said something like….”
I understand where their coming from, but they’re also a large part of the problem because they still beleive we live in a country that is governed by the rule of law and we aren’t.
Whenever someone raises the idea of “We’re in uncharted territory as a country here, perhaps we need to consider the fact that other things might soon be in order here.” boomer-cons are usually the first to chime in with, “We have the rule of law for a reason!” not realizing that only one side honors the law anymore. I’m not advocating for violence, I’m just saying that in order to address a problem, you have to be honest about it.
