Let me first go on record to say Arby’s is gross and no one should eat there. Having established that….
An Indianapolis man faces felony charges after workers at a local Arby’s said he attacked them while trying to climb through the drive-thru window and threatened them with a gun because his mobile order wasn’t ready.
Augustus A. Harper, 50, has been charged in Marion County with felony intimidation, battery and pointing a firearm in connection to a May incident at an Arby’s restaurant on Indy’s far east side….
…Upon arrival, officers spoke with a drive-thru worker who said that an unknown customer had attacked him through the drive-thru window. The man was reportedly upset that his mobile order wasn’t ready and tried to enter the building through the window.
The man hit employees in the head, neck and shoulders with both closed and opened fists while trying to make his way into the business, court docs show. Employees said the man, described as an older, heavier-set Black man, then drove away in a black Chevy SUV.
The store manager then described to police how, shortly after, the man returned to the drive-thru on foot and this time was armed with a handgun. The man reportedly cocked his weapon, pointed it at a drive-thru worker and said he was going to kill somebody.
Court documents show that the angry customer then began to walk in circles around the Arby’s while screaming and waving the handgun. He later got back into his Chevy SUV and continued to drive around the building, employees said.

You will be shocked to learn that alcohol may have been a factor. You will also be stunned to learn that Augustus Harper has had a few encounters with the law in the past.
He was having a rough 2021, released on 8/22, then released again on 8/29, then again on 9/5. WTF? Five of the six were for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, the sixth one didn’t have any info.
On the other hand I have never been drunk enough to voluntarily eat Arby’s.
Been at least 10 years since I ate at an Arby’s and I don’t recall any issue with it. In the past 4 years I have only eaten at a fast food joint 1 time, a McDonalds and the grub looked like it fell off the truck. It’s helpful that it’s at least a 30 min drive to any fast food joint.
First, the cost of fast food is on the moon now, and add in the astronomical cost of gas to drive 30 mins each way and you’ll see the overall cost to eat that slop is untenable. And now you add in the negro factor and the whole thing becomes a double negative.
I like Culvers quite a lot, it is the five star dining of fast food and most of the workers and patrons are White. It is a little pricey but not much more than the other places.
Is it possible for a negro to be employed there?
If so, that means they will never see me there.
The very idea, of eating food a negro has touched almost makes me hurl. (shiver)
I swore off Arby’s, and most other fast food joints (notably, but certainly not limited to McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC, Burger King and Wendy’s) year ago now. The quality of the food began to slide well before COVID fucked things up irreparably. So too did the quality of the staff, to a point where I didn’t trust these joints not to make me sick, even if I could overlook the lousy food. Oh, and I recently learned Arby’s killed off the potato cakes, which were a highlight back when I did still eat there. So there’s yet another strike against them.
Will concur that Culver’s is one of the few chains that are fun well enough that I’ll eat there. But unfortunately, I am seeing signs of it sliding a little these days. Chick-fil-A is ok, but I don’t really get the obsession with that place. It is far more popular than it’s product should make it. I will periodically eat at a Freddy’s (at certain locations where the staff isn’t sketchy) and Raising Cane’s, but that’s about it.
I’ve also heavily reduced my eating out at non-fast food eateries of the typical sit down casual variety. Not only do they have the same food and staff quality issues as the fast food operators, but they are an order of magnitude more costly. Add in the risk of unrestrained niggotry taking place at just about any public venue now, and the allure of having a meal out is pretty well gone.
Last time i ate at arbies you could get 2 sandwiches a drink and curly fries for under $6.
I used to love the potato cakes at Arby’s. But nowadays they charge like $10 for 2 of them
Do they actually still have potato cakes? I saw an article not too long ago which stated Arby’s had made the decision to eliminate those as a side. Apparently they were still available in Canadian locations, but had been scratched from the American division’s menu. Not that I’ll go back there anyway, even if they do still have the potato cakes. But now there seems to be some discrepancy on whether or not they’re actually available.
But what was the order? They skip the important questions!
