Phast Phood Phollies!

In celebration of Juneteenth I am trying to clear out some old Miracle-American related content. Here is a pair from Chicongo.

A four-time convicted felon has been jailed as a safety risk after prosecutors said he opened fire on a South Side fast food restaurant drive-thru window because his order was not ready.

Aaron Collins, 34, “was so incensed by a trivial matter—not having his fast food order ready—that he got out of [his] car and fired into Wendy’s 3 times, striking a cashier,” Judge Ankur Srivastava wrote in a detention order. The judge said the alleged crime is “so violent and horrific” that electronic monitoring, which could allow Collins to move freely two days a week, could not protect the public. Srivastava also noted Collins’ status as a four-time felon.

Officials said that Collins went to the restaurant at 8740 South Lafayette to pick up a late-night meal around 1 a.m. on April 4. But he allegedly became irate about the untimely fulfillment of his order and opened fire on the drive-thru window.

A 20-year-old woman working the drive-thru cash register suffered a gunshot wound to her left upper arm, prosecutors said in their detention petition. A security camera recorded the shooting.

Maybe a guy already on his fourth felony conviction shouldn’t be roaming the drive-thru lanes of our cities?

Slow, rude, indifferent service comes with the territory when buying fast food but for Juneteenth Celebrators that is reason enough to start shooting. On the other hand, want to bet the woman injured in the drive-thru was some sassy black chick or a spicy Latinx broad and was barking at him?

A gunman fired shots through the front windows of a fast food restaurant in the Loop overnight, injuring two men, according to Chicago police.

The victims were inside Taco Bell, 178 North Wabash, when the man fired into the restaurant, shattering panes of glass. A 31-year-old man inside the restaurant was shot in the left leg, and a 40-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

The police said they were both in good condition at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

There were reports of a fight inside the restaurant moments before the shots were fired, but police did not provide a motive for the shooting.

Witnesses said the gunman was a Black male in his 20s wearing all gray clothing. He was last seen heading south on State Street from Lake Street. Police were reviewing surveillance footage from the State-Lake Red Line station to see if he escaped on a train.

Altercation escalating to gunfire. How unusual!

Public places plus more than zero miracles = gunfire.

I worked for a couple of years as a bartender and bouncer at a “kiddie bar” while going to college. Right next door to a Jack in the Box restaurant. Legal drinking age was still 18 at the time. The worst I ever saw was some dirtbags at 3 am stomping on ketchup packages to send a red spray in all directions. Feeling responsible, since they had been drinking at our place, a couple of us from the bar walked over and knocked the everlovin’ snot out of the creeps, depositing them in a pile in Jack’s parking lot.

No weapons. Just swift, rough justice. Simpler, Whiter times.

It’s been said before, many times, but I’ll say it again: “We don’t have a gun problem. We have a black problem.”

It’s coming that if we want to survive we are going to have to adopt that attitude once again…Whites use to have that which is why we were feared and able to create the civilization we all live in today but we let that slip away because we thought we didn’t need that survival mechanism anymore..
