My distributors are borderline begging us to buy their ARs right now and retail prices are getting back to pre-‘Rona levels. Like this deal from Rural King Guns….
That is $50 cheaper than the base Ruger model they sell with the plastic handguard. This model was selling as fast as dealers could list them for MSRP of $819 a few months ago or even more when it was really bad. This is a solid entry level AR but you have to live near a Rural King, for now they are still only shipping to their own stores. If you need a budget priced AR and live near a Rural King, this is a great deal.
As always, I don’t get anything from Rural King and have no relationship with them.
Prices and availability in Florida has greatly improved. I'm waiting to see if it continues to improve. I remember buying AR's starting at $499 five or so years ago.
At this point I'm only buying from private sellers.
My first AR was the base Ruger and I got it for $499 I think.
Just go to gun.deals for way better deals than this.
Solid rifle.
Well I jumped on one of those PSA AR 15 the other day. Yea, sending it back now. Wont work with their own fucking PSA magazine. Cant get anyone to get on the fucking phone either. Only time it will fire correctly is with a Magpul mag. Not a happy camper. I thought I would pick it up on the cheap for a back up. Well that bit me in the ass.
They just started branding those mags, they are pretty cheap so I would guess it is a problem with their crappy mag instead of the rifle. I bought a handful of their mags to try out but they seemed pretty chintsy compared to PMAGs.
Well I just figured it out thx to some blogs, ammo. I was shooting some reloads that had been cycled thru my other rifle and the new rifle of course has a tighter chamber. Switched up to some factory and it cycled fine. I will keep the brass separate and reload for each gun specific. BFWIW still couldnt get PSA to respond, guess they are busy. Thx for the tip on the rifle!
Their phone service isn't great, they need to invest some cash in customer service
