How many times has this basic story come across this page: a black gets killed by other blacks, his family holds a memorial/funeral/candlelight vigil/celebration of life/ceremonial drinking of Colt .45/whatever only to have some different blacks shoot up the gathering? Time to break out the Colors gif….
Well it happened again, in New Jersey because of course.
1 killed, 4 injured during shooting at candlelight vigil in Elizabeth
A candlelight vigil honoring a young man who was killed in Elizabeth ended in tragedy Monday night when gunfire erupted.
Five victims were found at the scene. One was hospitalized and pronounced dead, while the others received treatment for their injuries.
The shooting happened near Elmwood Place and Irvington Avenue around 9:30p.m, where people had gathered earlier in the evening to remember Jamile Robbins, who was fatally shot in the same area seven years ago to the day.
Witnesses told News 12 that a vehicle approached from the direction of Union Avenue and Elmwood Place before occupants began firing dozens of rounds as it traveled down Elmwood Place. The vehicle then turned onto Irvington Avenue, where the vigil had been held, striking multiple victims before fleeing, witnesses said.
I looked at Google maps for Elmwood Place and Irvington Avenue in Elizabeth and it looks ghetto af, with what appears to be a movie set ready housing project nearby. Elizabeth, New Jersey is another of those “American” cities that are unrecognizable as being American at all with a scant 12% Whites, only 16% black and 65% mestizo but the mestizo population includes a lot of Dominicans (9.5%), Puerto Ricans (8.3%) and Columbians (9.5%) so these aren’t your friendly Mexican mestizo gardeners.
The “vigil” was held for one Jamile Robbins, a 20 year old killed in October of 2019. Cut down in the prime of his life, just imagine all of the little crickets he could have spawned all over Jersey.
He looks like his death was a major loss to humanity, he has that standard 2G look of keen intelligence and intellectual curiosity in his not at all dead and vacant eyes. You must really have hated a nigga if you are shooting up his vigils 7 years later, or more likely the target had announced his attendance at the vigil on Instagram and TikTok.
Man, back in the old days it must have been a lot harder to find fools to smoke when they weren’t telling the world where they would be in real time.
When I hear “Elizabeth”, my mind automatically thinks of the old Redd Foxx bit from Sanford and Son, where he feigns a heart attack and exclaims while clutching his chest and stumbling about, “Oh Elizabeth, this is the big one, I’m coming to join you!”. Which in the present case being discussed is particularly fitting.
And now I also think of the episode where he was in court, looked around and said “we have enough niggers here to make a Tarzan movie!” Which remark is also oddly suited the matter at hand.
The old flea market is now a skating rink. King Of New York is the first movie version of shooting up a funeral with Christopher Walken as the KONY. Did they make a hashtag to stop the enrichment?
Even in wartime you can have a funeral and not have it bombed or shelled.
