The odds makers have really handicapped the odds of Vivek Ramaswamy losing badly to Amy Acton in Ohio. A new Texas poll is showing that little faggot Talarico leading Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate race even as the same poll shows Greg “Rollin’ For Israel” Abbott leading in his re-election bid and Bo French doing well against (((Rosenthal)))….

Yes, yes, I know that polls also said Hillary Clinton would win comfortably in 2016 but then there is also this…

A key GOP super PAC reportedly has removed $6.5 million in ad reservations from North Carolina’s Senate race for the month of October with Republican candidate Michael Whatley trailing former Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper in polls.

Cooper has name recognition and is leading 49% to 34% which is a pretty significant lead.

Anyway, with the “election” coming up the MAGA talking heads have been given their talking points and boy, it sure is a solid strategy. There are a number of people saying similar stuff….

Rock-ribbed “conservative” Boomer Mike has been sucking off the government teat his entire life, gets a cushy pension from the state for his firefighter gig and likely another one for his Navy service. He lives in Georgia and it is pretty easy to sneer at people who are struggling when you get one or two pension checks every month and don’t have to drive to work.

I am surprised she didn’t shill for plant protein. She also apparently doesn’t remember just a couple of years ago when you could hardly get eggs in the store and they were $5/dozen or more. You don’t rebuild the American cattle herd by saying “Eat eggs” or importing sketchy beef from Argentina. You rebuild the herd by having conditions where farmers and ranchers can keep heifers to in turn have calves rather than selling them, and that is tough right now because a couple grand in the hand while you are paying $7 per gallon for diesel fuel is a safer bet than a calf you sell three years from now (assuming the heifer doesn’t die). Yes, yes something something socialism something.

Trump and most of the Republican party have been pretty dismissive of the impacts of inflation and especially fuel prices, which is bizarre given that inflation and fuel prices are one of the signature issues Trump ran on in 2024. He recently said while campaigning in North Carolina:

“You have a little higher. It’s a very inexpensive price to pay for what we’ve done,” Trump said of the war, which he describes as critical to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. ”Remember that. It’s a little more. Frankly, even if it was a lot more.”

Wow, it is hard to imagine the Republican Senate candidate in North Carolina is trailing in the polls so badly. It would be bad enough but the sneering dismissiveness from Republican talking heads makes it worse. Don’t drink the latte, eat an egg instead of a burger, how much is too much to pay to stop Iran from getting nukes that everyone agrees they were not building in the first place?

My theory was that Trump was going to be allowed to “win” in 2024 and then the Left would kneecap him to discredit MAGA and “conservatism” but they didn’t even have to bother as Trump and his cronies have been discrediting the movement all on their own. The Orange Man keeps stepping on rakes over and over but thinks the people all love him.
