Deon was about to graduate from Saginaw United High in Michigan….
Now he won’t because he was gunned down in…an after-prom “parking lot party”? WTF is a “parking lot party” you might ask? I guess it is a bunch of 2Gs drinking in a trashy liquor store parking lot like this one….
Graduation was Tuesday. Sooooo close…
Police identify Saginaw teen killed in parking lot party days before graduation
Police have identified Saginaw’s latest homicide victim as a teenager who just attended prom and was days away from graduating from high school.
Deon L. Wiley III, 17, suffered a fatal gunshot wound during a parking lot party at the Quick Stop at 2034 S. Washington Ave. about 12:15 a.m. on Friday, May 22, confirmed Saginaw Police Deputy Chief Matthew Gerow. Another male teen suffered at least one gunshot and arrived in a personal vehicle at a local hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.
Wiley had been a senior at Saginaw United High School and was set to graduate on Tuesday, May 26. The school had its senior prom at the SVRC Marketplace, 203 S. Washington Ave., on Thursday evening, which Wiley attended….
…Extra officers were patrolling the city Thursday night due to the recent rash of parking lot parties, wherein large groups of young people gather and congregate in businesses’ parking lots, often overtaking the area, Gerow said. When officers disperse such a party, the attendees often move to another location and resume the reveling.
Reveling? Pretty fancy talk for drinking out of a brown paper bag in the parking lot of a Quick Stop in Saginaw.
On the bright side it doesn’t appear that he reproduced yet and that sheboon he went to prom with looks like she could crank out some niglets.
Saginaw is a dump thanks to being almost half black. The city has been bleeding population for years with a precipitous drop in the last 20 years….
From 61,799 in 2000 to 44,202 in 2020 is a drop of almost 30% and what is left over isn’t exactly the cream of the crop. Saginaw once was a major manufacturing center for General Motors but most of those plants are closed, abandoned and/or have been razed to the ground. I always thought Saginaw could have been a nice little city if you could get rid of the 40+% of blacks that infest the city and shoot each other in liquor store parking lots.
