Here I was crapping on the women of the Indianapolis Police Department and then they post some pictures of lady cops with kids for Mother’s Day. Clearly I was wrong about their suitability for the job. Like this one….

She is all geared up but can you imagine her chasing a perp? The vest looks like it is about 10 sizes too small for her and where did they find a tactical belt that size? It looks like the “fat guy in a little coat” shtick from Tommy Boy.
I am not trying to be mean here but doesn’t the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have some basic physical fitness standards? Maybe she is an office workers type but then why is she geared up?
It must be comforting to know that the tax payers of Indianapolis are safe in the hands of law enforcement professionals. Maybe they can reboot Hill Street Blues and set it in Indianapolis, they could call it Hill Street Chews?
