As of this writing at least four Amish men, possibly a fifth, are dead after a semi ran head-on into their work van in rural Indiana on their way home from work.
ISP investigates Jay County multi-car crash that killed 4
This is not from our local Amish community, they are part of the “Berne Amish” community just south of us but a lot of them work up in this area. The driver of the semi? Pretty sure he isn’t Amish.
Following an initial investigation, police determined that the driver of a semi, 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev, was traveling east on SR 67 near CR 550 E when he did not stop for another slowed semi tractor. The eastbound semi then swerved into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a van.
ISP initially said the crash killed three people and left others in serious and life-threatening condition; in an update Wednesday, officials announced a fourth person had died.
The Jay County Coroner identified the victims as four men from the town of Bryant: 50-year-old Henry Eicher, 25-year-old Menno Eicher, 19-year-old Paul Eicher and 23-year-old Simon Girod.
The older man, Henry Eicher, is the father of the two younger Eicher boys. The other man also has a young family.

What the hell is a 30 year old Kyrgyz doing in the U.S., in a rural county in Indiana of all places, driving a semi?
We know what he is doing here, like the rest of the post-1965 immigrant population he is a bioweapon being employed against the people of the U.S. That is the whole explanation.

Awful to read about. I try to limit myself to just the headlines, because even those just enrage me. And constantly getting angry about the anarcho-tyranny and the woke insanity and the rule by womyn and misfits yet being able to do nothing about it is the definition of stress. So I look for fiction books and anything to take my mind off this dystopian world. And as you note, it doesn’t matter how good or careful a driver you are, when you are surrounded by airheaded girls texting and aliens driving semis. My husband drives for his requisite business trips because we no longer trust flying (DIE among the air traffic controllers, pilots, airline mechanics, etc., not to mention the damned passengers) but the highways are now just as bad. Only saving grace is the ease of traveling armed when in one’s own vehicle.

Fortunately I guess, Henry had 13 surviving children (the 14th was stillborn) so even losing two sons he has a lot of bloodline left but his death will leave an open emotional wound in that family forever.
