I can’t even fathom what it takes for someone to claim that the Jewiest of Jewish industries, Hollywood, needs more Jewish representation.
In 2015, the year of #OscarsSoWhite, eight out of 28 of the Best Picture producers were Jewish.
This year, there are only three confirmed Jews out of 31.Yes, Jews are still overrepresented according to their population, but every antisemitic regime begins with Jewish quotas, be it the Spanish Inquisition, Nazi Germany or the Farhud.
Some of the movies nominated for best picture — “Oppenheimer” and “Maestro” — are stories about Jews, played by gentiles, Cillian Murphy and Bradley Cooper.

Jews are about 2% of the U.S. population but are about 10% of the producers nominated for Best Picture. I guess it should be 100%, maybe that would make Allison Josephs of “Jew in the City” happy? I doubt it because a critical component to elite Jewish psychology is perpetual dissatisfaction and insisting on being treated as victims and oppressed, even in places where Jews are and always have been overwhelmingly dominant.
