Controlled Opposition Normiecons Are Just As Dumb As Liberals

And just as malicious.

Case in point, our old friend Rod Dreher, Mr. Benedict Option American Conservative that recently abandoned his wife and children, definitely not to move in with a catamite or anything. While I am blocked by the thin-skinned Dreher on Twitter, one of his moronic tweets was featured by Fox News in an article about the transvestite Richard Levine who calls himself “Rachel Levine” these days and prances about in a women’s admirals outfit as a “four-star admiral in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps”. When Richard Levine “transitioned” and started calling himself “Rachel”, he abandoned his wife. Divorcing and abandoning your wife and kids is something else Levine and Dreher have in common.

The doctor said, “So I’d like to just talk briefly about another area of substantial misinformation that is directly impacting health equity in our nation, and that is the health equity of sexual and gender minorities. There is substantial misinformation about gender-affirming care for transgender and gender diverse individuals.”

Levine then claimed that the country is “facing an onslaught of anti-LGBTQI+ actions at the state levels across the United States,” adding, “They are dangerous to the public health.”

Levine continued, saying, “The positive value of gender-affirming care for youth and adults is not in scientific or medical dispute.”

The official called for tech censorship to quell any dispute on the subject, adding, “And we need to use our clinicians voice to collectively advocate for our tech companies to create a healthier, cleaner information environment.”

If you are keeping score at home, “misinformation” is anything that questions what They are telling you is true, even when what They tell you is true is shown to be completely false later. I suspect if you privately interviewed every American physician over the age of 40 you would find pretty significant dispute over the “positive value” of sexually mutilating adolescents but all too few say so publicly.

Richard Levine besides being a fucking degenerate, also has a particular fetish for kids…

Why do people rob banks? Because that is where the money is. Why are groomers like Richard Levine attracted to pediatrics? Because that is where the kids are. The same is true for a lot of would-be pedophiles who gravitate to teaching, coaching youth sports, Scouting, youth clergy, etc. Just to be clear, I am not suggesting that Richard “Rachel” Levine is an active pedophile, just that he seems to have an unhealthy fascination with children’s sexuality that is concerning for a man who wears women’s clothing. The pedophile->-homosexuality pipeline is not a “conspiracy theory”.

Anyway, Richard Levine who wears the trappings of an “Admiral” despite having never served in the military (I get that PHSCC is a uniformed service) wants to suppress “misinformation” about deviants carving up children’s genitals and calling it “gender affirming care”. You might even call this “misinformation” by an older name “Counter-revolutionary subversion”. A critical component of keeping Their thumb on the people of the Soviet Union was to force the people to affirm that which they knew wasn’t true. The whole thing was an elaborate charade, the old “we pretend to work and the bosses pretend to pay us” shtick. There was all of this chatter about the working class and the egalitarianism of the USSR when everyone knew that the Soviet system was brutally hierarchical. The workers didn’t do what they were told out of revolutionary fervor, they did it because they wanted to avoid the gulag.

The KGB was always looking for people saying the wrong things. I suspect that the overwhelmingly majority of those arrested, imprisoned, tortured and executed by the Soviet state apparatus were “guilty” of, or at least suspected of, thinking or worse saying the wrong things rather than actually doing anything. The Soviets understood that you don’t quash a revolution after it starts, you smash it before it can take root and the way you do this is controlling public discourse so no one can even hint at opposing the state. The Soviet military was full of political commissars or zampolit who ensured that the military stayed loyal to the regime (a great depiction of this is seen in Enemy At The Gates with Joseph Fiennes playing Commissar Danilov). The Soviets knew that if you can control the language, you can control the people. There are obvious parallels to our current state in the West. It is not quite to that level yet but it is getting there, you need only look at the political prisoners from January 6th to see how perilously close we have become.

So does Rod Dreher use that clear historic link in his tweet. Of course not.

I get that he is playing off an old saying attributed to Sinclair Lewis “When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross” but he is also playing into a variation of “Democrats are the real racists!” with “Democrats are the real fascists!”. Both are equally ineffective and counter-productive.

Maybe Rod doesn’t really understand fascism beyond “something I don’t like” and perhaps he is just that lacking in intellectual curiosity that he doesn’t take the time to think it through. For all of his pretensions to the contrary, he really is an intellectual lightweight.

Why is this so counter-productive? It reinforces the Leftist position rather than refuting it.

Look first at the “Democrats are the real racists!” nonsense. That never works even though in some ways it might actually be true, at least in the sense of being racist toward White people and patronizing and infantilizing toward blacks. But it is never effective because it cedes the ground to the Left before the first shot is fired by affirming that “racism” towards blacks is The Worst Thing In The World (other than antisemitism ofc). But the Left has already redefined racism to be something that only White people can do, so we are left with arguing which group of Whites are actually racist but at the same time it affirms that White people holding any sense of racial solidarity is automatically racist. Squabbling about who can suck up the most to blacks is a game the Left will play, and win, all day long just so it is agreed that kowtowing to blacks and never, ever criticizing them as a group is the only acceptable position.

The same with “Democrats are the real fascists!”. The fact remains that almost no one who uses fascism in contemporary discourse understands anything about fascism as a political philosophy. All they know about fascism is that Hitler was a fascist (and don’t get me started about the differences between fascism and National Socialism) and Moustache Man Bad is the gold standard by which all things naughty in our world are compared to. But what is generally agreed is that fascism is synonymous with “extreme right wing” and whether that is accurate or not is irrelevant for our purposes in this post.

When people like Rod Dreher and pretty much every other normiecon affirm this, it means that we must not go too far to the Right or we risk becoming Literally Hitler. It creates an artificial fence hemming us in and gives the Left endless ammo to accuse people on the Right of “extremism”. The Left doesn’t care when normies accuse them of socialism or communism, as both of those political movements have been insulated for decades to the point that while you get large percentages of young people advocating for communism, you have no mainstream movement advocating for any form of actual, recognizable fascism. We have multiple open socialists in Congress, from Bernie Sanders in the Senate to “The Squad” in the House but no one in either chamber or anywhere in a significant elected position who espouses fascism. The only mildly pro-White Congressman in recent memory, Steve King, was run out of office not by Democrats but by his own party of “conservatives”.

If “fascism” is the worst possible political position to hold, then it makes sense that the further away from fascism you get, the better. Liberals love this as they continue to charge to the Left while “conservatives” follow them slightly more slowly to avoid being charged with harboring nostalgia for the most famous Austrian painter ever. As no one seems to realize that the guy on the opposite of the artificial spectrum from Hitler, one Joseph Stalin, was a far more bloodthirsty and accomplished mass murderer than Adolf, it is like playing basketball but only one side has to guard their own goal. It is easy to concentrate on offense when the other team is not permitted to even cross half-court.

Sure, Rod Dreher is as phony a “conservative” as Richard Levine is a “woman” but his position here is as mainstream as they come. The rhetorical ground has been tilted entirely to one side and arguing about who the real fascists are is a reliably and proven losing strategy. This is not a defense of fascism, simply a strategic reality. In a war of ideas, letting your opponent define and restrict which ideas are subject to criticism means you lose. Every single time. Today’s neo-Bolshevik Left is not really a communist movement and while it has a few aspects in common, it certainly is not a fascist movement. It combines to the worst of both into something new and even worse (see: Not Really Marxism And Not Really Fascism But Something Far Worse).

It is not news to my audience but mainstream normiecons like Rod Dreher, Charlie Kirk, everyone left at National Review, etc are just as dumb as their normielib counterparts but far more damaging in their role as gatekeepers. It is little wonder we have lost so consistently with idiots like this leading the rhetorical charge.
