Does The Truth Matter?

I was listening to a podcast this morning while walking to cool down after an hour of worship services at Our Lady Of Perpetual Lactic Acid and one of the hosts said something I thought was kinda profound. It might be because I got to the gym at 5:20 AM so I was groggy but still.

The basic gist was in two parts.
One, that we know the truth. I would qualify that and say that at least for me what I know is that most of what I am told by virtually every institution, from Big Government to Big Business, entertainment and media and organized religion, is all bullshit and all aimed at harming me and my people. In other words while I only know a fraction of the truth, what I mostly know is that I am being lied to and manipulated.
Two, that we generally speak can’t do a damn thing about it.
You question the official narrative of the Las Vegas shooting? Or of 9/11 or Oklahoma City or any of the other “historical” events we are not allowed to question from the assassination of JFK to the Holocaust?
You notice that certain groups of people tend to be overrepresented in positions of power and that those same groups of people are almost invariably at the terminus of your investigation of any new social degeneracy?
You have eyes that work and see that violent criminals are mostly from one race even though we are told how great diversity is and that White supremacists are the real danger in America?
You can connect the dots and see that the economy is being purposely crashed and the culture purposely degraded, and the same people torpedoing the economy are also pushing to replace White Americans with new, easier to control and manipulate third-worlders?
You recognize the obvious hypocrisy of being lectured about the need for peaceful, law abiding people to be disarmed by people who are protected by armed guards 24-7, people who also turn a blind eye or are even willfully complicit in seeing violent *actual* criminals walk out of jail via a revolving door “justice” system?
So what the hell are you going to do about it?
Not a damn thing.
You know it, I know it and They definitely know it. Hell they locked people up in a gulag for misdemeanor trespassing in a public building and are literally torturing these people without the benefit of basic legal due process. What won’t they do? Voting is likewise just as useless as is most political activism.
What is worse, almost no one else wants to hear the truth.
The truth is right in front of their eyes. White men and women sit in front of a screen being bombarded with anti-White messaging and degeneracy all day and pretend it is anything but that. Even normie White men have to recognize at some level that the only White people they see on screen are either White women in a mixed race relationship with a non-White guy or a hapless White buffoon who is corrected by a wiser and better looking non-White. They just don’t care, as long as they have cheap calories to shove in their pie-hole and some electronic entertainment to distract them, they are content to look away as long as they aren’t personally threatened.
As the host said this morning on the podcast, knowing that you can’t do anything about it is depressing and demoralizing. That is doubly true when you scream the warning from the rooftops and your own people shout you down because you are disturbing their torpor. Talk about being black-pilled.
It makes you tired. Tired of saying the same things over and over. Oh look, blacks acting like blacks always act. Dual-citizens up to degenerate shenanigans. The media lying to you. Every day it happens anew, every day it gets worse and every day you can’t really change anything. It brought to mind again my post Why Cypher Is Really The Most Important Character In The Matrix For Today because I can understand why someone would prefer to forget the unpleasant truth and remain in a comfortable cocoon of lies.
So does it matter? What is the value of being in the “right” 0.5% when the other 99.5% of people are oblivious or worse, complicit? Is truth it’s own reward?
For the most part I think it is. In an admittedly small percentage of people, knowing the truth even when it is inconvenient or uncomfortable or perhaps downright dangerous, is worth the discomfort. The old saying is that ignorance is bliss and that might be true. Look at a severely mentally retarded person, they aren’t worried about nuclear war or demographic displacement or paying bills but would you want to be that person? Am I saying most people are basically retards? Yes. Yes I am.
The real question isn’t what do you do about the truth but rather what do you do with the truth.
Knowing that you can’t meaningfully change the trajectory, you do what you can, where you can, and that means the most basic level: home and family, neighbors and friends. As WRSA constantly reminds us: Local, local, local.
Watch the geopolitical storms a’brewing, here and abroad, but not with a notion of changing it but rather the same way a farmer watches the gathering clouds. A smart farmer keeps one eye on the field in front of him and one eye on the skies around him. He can’t stop the storm but he can adjust what he is doing based on the gathering clouds. We ought to be doing the same.

Seeing what is happening and being powerless to stop it absolutely can be demoralizing. There are days when I am in a deep funk about it. That doesn’t serve any purpose and is precisely what they want you to be, demoralized and depressed. But ignoring a truth doesn’t make it less true or less dangerous either. Focus on what you can impact because there is a lot. Don’t take the bait and do something stupid so you end up in jail. The best way to inflict the justice They deserve is to be alive, free and ready when the time comes.
Surviving is the first and most necessary step to vengeance. Dead or imprisoned men don’t mete out justice.

Truth is like poetry and people hate poetry from The Big Short.

The point to having a "big brain", is to attempt to model *reality*, and run it forward to predict the future. The point to predicting the future is less about changing it, than about getting out of it's way. Less about vanquishing than about surviving. For us, our model is incomplete at best, and delusional at worst, so the future is uncertain, so we play to our strengths and diversify, and strengthen our weaknesses.

Knowing the future is *huge*. ESPECIALLY when you cannot change it.

And it's funny to watch Agent Smith pop up into them. You can have a conversation where they agree with every single point, and it sets up an inescapable conclusion. But they can't take that last step, because it requires them to rethink their entire life, their entire belief system.

So they don't. Instead, Agent Smith pops up and keeps their worldview safe.

Worse are the deer in the headlights looks from those that can't even bear to hear anything outside their world view. You can stop in mid sentence and they are non responsive until you get back on the script they know.

Speaking of local, local, local… that is where change is going on in many small ways and reports that get out. School boards ousted for example. Talking all below even State level. That's where you can effect change with enough like minds in the community. Thinking about changing things at the national or state level? Yeah that can be depressing. OTOH it's getting to be hopeful that the various factions there will eat themselves. Just think, if the Admin blew the Nord lines and CIA tried to warn Germany, there's serious infighting going on. Like a bunch of junkyard dogs fighting over an emaciated dead chipmunk.

Excellent post. I strongly empathize – both the frustration and demoralization from watching the rest of the world sleepwalk into destruction, and the determination to survive and help create a small corner of decency and refuge. And very much the hope that someday, somehow, there will be the opportunity for some payback.

It helps a great deal to get offline sometimes. After rebutting the usual talking points for the millionth time – and not from globalists, mind you, but purportedly based people – I've learned to generally just walk away. Don't retort online. If someone retains belief in the voting or muh democracy or The Human Race in this day and age, they're certainly beyond my help – or my care.

The storm isn't "coming". It is here. Right now. And it stole in like a thief in the night over the past 30 years while the vast majority of us were playing video games, watching (not playing) sports, drinking beer, getting fat on cheap fast food.

I am as guilty as anyone else. I was watching 12 hours of football, college and pro, every weekend from late August until mid-February, while my kids went unsupervised online and my wife was immersed in Hallmark Channel White guilt porn in another room. The electronic genie seduced and then separated us all neatly by gender and by generation and made sure that the subliminal message was received loud and clear: Your reign is over, White man. Wither and die.

For me, the whole kneeling for the anthem was just a bridge too far, and it snapped me out of my stupor. I am ashamed now to recall how much precious life was lost to the subtle negrolatry of my sportsball obsession. But I take pardonable pride in calling myself six years "clean" today, having cut the cable back in 2016. I can't even look back on my own high school and college playing days without feeling a sudden surge of revulsion for the utter inanity of risking my health for a silly game, and for the false camaraderie of "friends" from a demographic that would sooner see me and mine dead.

Yes, we are each individually powerless to stop the madness, the perversity, the denigration of our proud White history. But evil leviathan can be defeated by a million tiny cuts. Disengage from the matrix. Refuse to obey. Get and stay healthy. Ignore their pronouns, reject their toxicity. Call out their hypocrisy. Seek out like-minded others. Boycott "woke". You are in a life-and-death struggle for your own survival and that of your progeny right now. Best get wise to it.

When you are dealing with a snake, you don't have to stack the deck against yourself by holding yourself to some notional honorable ways that make you more vulnerable. We've been lied to and about, sold out, defrauded and plenty more. Look at the insanity of this whole trans thing. Trust me, if a lie gives me the advantage against the evil running things, I'm gonna lie.
    No lie!

What can you do *with* the truth? Run and hide, and I have. Far from the insanity. Smelled big trouble approaching 25 years ago and got out — to another country. For white men there still are few good places to live: My choice was Thailand. Other men are content in Mexico. Either place offers a far more pleasant environment than in "the West" today. I welcome rational discussion about these topics. "My email: smart.sand4527@fastmail.com

As always, greatly enjoyed the post.

You wrote, "As the host said this morning on the podcast, knowing that you can't do anything about it is depressing and demoralizing."

I am in a funk lately, much of due to living in Clownworld 2022, but also due to my elderly mother's failing health. Recently asked my employer if I could reduce to 30 hours a week to spend more time caring for mom, but was told I'd have to stay around 40 hours, to bring in enough money to pay for my benefits.

I would love to go back to being self employed (I am in an in-demand skilled trade), but I am basically a slave to have health insurance. And that realization is really depressing, on top of all the other crap.

I realize this comment is in somewhat different context from your post; thanks for allowing me to vent.

A majority of people can't be lead to the truth, either because they lack the mental gear to process it or they simply don't care. There will never be a time when suddenly the Normie wakes up and shit happens.

Normies can be led, however. Simple slogans that can be interpreted to mean whatever the listens wants, repeated often. What Levi-Strausse called a "floating signifier."
    MAGA!
    Hope and Change!
    A New Deal!
    Tippecanoe and Tyler too!
    etc. etc.

Once in power, deliver a few things that the voters will like enough to re-elect you, then spend the rest of your energy doing what you secretly intended to do all along. There was an interview of either Bill Clinton or Stephenopolus where the interviewer asked how they could believe their presidency was such a success when so many campaign promises went unfulfilled. The answer, "well, we kept all the promises that we intended to keep."

You can lead the normie, and get a lot of work out of him, but you can't wake him up.

Another issue with truth is that tyrannies don't need anyone to believe their lies; they only need enough people to believe that every one else believes their lies.

“within an established totalitarian regime the purpose of propaganda is not to persuade, much less to inform, but rather to humiliate. From this point of view, propaganda should not approximate to the truth as closely as possible: on the contrary, it should do as much violence to it as possible. For by endlessly asserting what is patently untrue, by making such untruth ubiquitous and unavoidable, and finally by insisting that everyone publicly acquiesce in it, the regime displays its power and reduces individuals to nullities.”
