(N)O Canada!

Tried to get into Canada today with some Amish, all of us un"vaccinated" of course. They let the lady in because she was born in Canada and her kids because they were citizens by birth but her husband and me? Blocked and denied.

I am officially "not welcome to enter Canada" and even got a rejection letter.

Do not pass go, do not collect $200 in maple syrup.

I pretty much knew they weren't going to let me in but the lady insisted we try anyway. So that made for a 400 mile round trip that took, with a short detention period at the border, from around 8:30 AM until 5 PM mostly sitting on my keister in my van.

So how was your day?

They Just Couldn't Leave Us Alone

One of the greatest sources of confusion is the forbearance of the Average American. While our country is being ravaged and stolen right from under us, we mostly sit back and do nothing. Strange for people who are regularly accused of being violent and the greatest domestic threat to America, ironic in that we are America and without us there would be no America.

I ran across this quote today and I think it makes a lot of sense, capturing the "a switch not a dial" mentality that differentiates Us from Them.

It's a little much to fit on a meme so I'll type it out as well....
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.

They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over.

The moment the Men who wanted to be left alone are forced to fight back, it is a form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be. Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these Men who wanted to be left alone, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.

They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror. TRUE TERROR will arrive at these people's door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy... but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the Men who just wanted to be left alone."
That is pretty powerful stuff when you stop and think about it.

Have you thought about that? Really thought about it? I have and continue to do so.

I know what will almost certainly need to be done and I don't look forward to it.

I also know that when it does happen and I have to do the unthinkable, there is no going back. The guy I was five, ten years ago will be gone forever. No more "planning for retirement", no more "keeping my head down". You can't go back to being Just A Guy.

When it happens, it will be as it says above. We didn't want this, they forced it on us and in doing so they destroyed and killed the men we once were. What takes the place of Just A Guy is going to be ugly and angry.

Who the hell do they think they are? All my life I have toed the line, done the Right Thing. I asked for jackshit in return, just to be left the fuck alone. What I wanted was a quiet life, a wife and kids, a place to live to call our own, some downtime to relax. If they would have left me with that, just left me alone, I would still be the guy I was back in the day, voting for W. Bush, punching the clock, looking forward to the weekend.

They wouldn't leave it alone. They had to push. They left us with no other choices.

Soon they will reap what they have sown and when they do there will be no room for mercy, no room for being the nice guy, the bigger man. All those years of being shit on and just taking it will turn to time for payback. And you know what they say about payback.

Here Is More White Privilege At Work

Last September I wrote about an outrageous murder case out of Minneapolis, Minnesota: Open Season On White People featuring a Somali murdering cop named Mohamed Noor who shot an unarmed middle-aged White woman in her pajamas because he was afraid she was going to get him. This is the dangerous criminal he shot, Justine Ruszczyk Damond.

You can see why he was scared, it wasn't like she was an enormous drug addled black man with a lengthy rap sheet. No, in Minneapolis if a violent felon dies of heart failure while resisting arrest the cop goes to jail forever. But if a black cop shoots an unarmed White woman in her pajamas?

Derek Chauvin will never walk free again but less than five years after gunning down Justine, Mohamed Noor is a free man. Oh, and he got to spend his time in prison in North Dakota instead of Minnesota.

If we lived in a "White supremacist" society, that mother fucker wouldn't make it a day on the outside but instead he will get to keep living here and maybe someone will write a book about his oppression and have him scrawl his name in crayon for signed copies.

It is open season on White people in the nation we carved out of the savage wilderness and most White people can't be bothered to give a shit.

Most Smarterested Military Evah!

More moves to recruit the dumbest people possible who won't object when told to open fire on civilians.

From "The Universal Franchise Was A Mistake" Files

Behold, Krystle Matthews. She is a South Carolina State House Representative and is in a runoff election tomorrow to challenge Republican Tim Scott for the U.S. Senate seat.

She is a strong black wahmen of colour who don't need no man. A proud single mom with five chidlins, she is a real winner but even she needs her some hep when it comes to winning. She was recently caught on a recorded phone call to an inmate, one David Solomon Ballard.

A South Carolina man who was in jail for threatening the life of a Midlands-area sheriff was arrested and charged for assaulting a State Law Enforcement Division agent Wednesday.

David Solomon Ballard, 33, faces multiple charges for the crimes he’s accused of committing.

For threatening Aiken County Sheriff Mike Hunt, the Jackson resident was charged with threatening life, person or family of a public official. The charge is a felony with a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of up to $5,000 or both.

For assaulting a SLED agent, Ballard was also charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. The charge is a felony with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison....

... Ballard has an extensive arrest record, according to aikencountysc.gov. He has previously been arrested and charged with: Assault & Battery (3rd degree) Driving Under Suspension (multiple charges) DUI (multiple charges) Simple Possession of Marujuana (multiple charges) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Assault / Assault & Battery with Intent to Kill Drugs, Distribute to Under 18/Sched V Drugs, Pur Of Cont Sub w/in proximity of school

Mr. Ballard is a swell guy who is naturally who you would reach out to on a strategy call. Who doesn't solicit help from violent convicts while running for the U.S. Senate?

Here is the call:

Some highlights:

This is definitely someone who should be making laws that impact me and my family.

I am not a lawyer but it sounds like she is encouraging this inmate to get his buddies on the outside to get duffle bags of drug money and donate it under other people's names to her campaign. That sounds like a felony or something.

I dropped a note to the attorney general of South Carolina, we will see if he does anything or if the South Carolina Democrat Party intervenes. This might actually help her win some votes in the black community...

Light Poasting This Week

An Amish friend lost her mom after a long struggle with cancer yesterday and she lived an hour away so I will be on the road a ton the rest of the week. Fewer posts, fewer (than usual) interactions with comments.

On The Other Side Of The Roe Question

Here is a compelling story that bolsters the pro-"choice" argument:

How prolific you might ask?

Prolific to the tune of 44 children.

44

Read on.....

Mariem Nabatanzi had given birth to 44 kids by the age of 40 and was told that no family planning methods would work for her.

The woman from Uganda, East Africa, has given birth to four sets of twins, five sets of triplets, and five sets of quadruplets.

Only once did she give birth to a single child.

Six of her children died, and her husband abandoned her and ran off with all the family’s money, leaving Mariem with 38 children – 20 boys and 18 girls – to raise single-handedly.

Mariem was married off when she was only 12 years old after her parents sold her and soon after she fell pregnant, giving birth to her first child at the age of just 13.

Fertility rates are far higher in Uganda, where the average is 5.6 children per woman, according to the World Bank.

That’s more than double the world average of 2.4 children.

44 kids, her husband ran off, six kids already have died. What does the future hold for the surviving 38 children? Probably more of the same poverty and hopelessness.

Uganda has a fertility rate of 5.6 children per woman and also is one of the shittiest of shitholes in the world. From Wikipedia:

Uganda is one of the poorest nations in the world. In 2012, 37.8 percent of the population lived on less than $1.25 a day.

If there was ever a place where aggressive contraception methods was appropriate, it is Uganda but Uganda isn't even the most fecund country in the world.

Compare these countries to the opposite end of the spectrum....

The bottom of the fertility scale is almost all East Asian or White majority nations.

A quick scan of the list shows not one majority White or East Asian nation at or above the replacement rate of 2.1 children per woman. This is one of the most critical factors to look at when thinking about the intermediate future of the world. The producers, the people who invent stuff and make stuff run are slowly dying out and the people who consume and add nothing to the world but mouths to feed are still multiplying at an enormous rate. I refer back to this chart on a regular basis, Steve Sailer's "World's Most Important Graph" because it truly is that important.

Left to their own devices, the massive birth-rate of Africans would sort itself out as excess children died off but of course that isn't what is happening, not for decades. In 1985 when I was still a yoof in middle school a whole slew of singers got together to raise money for Africa with the song "We Are The World".

This effort raised tens of millions of dollars, although I suspect a lot of that money didn't make it anywhere near Africa or the money that did ended up in some tyrants Swiss bank account. Did it make a difference or even a dent? Not really. It might have fed some African kids for a short time but famine has ravaged the continent on and off ever since, interspersed with civil wars and pandemics. It won't ever change because Africa is full of Africans.

Thanks to the squeamishness of Western Christians, the aid provided to Africa has never dealt with the underlying issue: Africans cannot manage themselves and subsidizing them simply makes small messes into larger messes.

Is it cruel to see a child starve to death? Of course but is it not crueler still to provide that child with the barest of subsistence so she can grow to maturity and start having 6, 8 or 10 children of her own who will starve to death?

Faced with starvation, as will certainly be the case what do you suppose they are going to do? Just sit around and starve? Of course not, and with the financial aid of the traitorous fifth column in the West they will head north to Europe and the promised land of free gibs from the evil White man. As I was writing this I came across this lengthy but excellent post from John Waters (HT: WRSA):

Excellent stuff, especially this:
All this is planned. It will not be an unforeseen, happenstance outcome of random events. Social chaos is baked into the cake of Covid disruption and tyranny. The war in Ukraine — in effect an undeclared war by the United States and NATO on the Russian Federation, with Ukraine merely the proxy patsy in the middle — has not turned out as the US and EU leaders foresaw, and this has come to mean that the social disaster will be far worse than they intended. But this does not mean that the tyrants will instantly begin to amend their conduct and seek to mitigate its effects. We shall see, therefore, the culmination of a long process of social-engineering and race-baiting that is calculated to deliver to the globalist project the means to enter into a whole new dispensation, in which the already super-rich will become far richer, and the inhabitants of the afflicted countries — in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and beyond will be, though all equally subject to dispossession, thrown at each other’s throats. The people of Europe will be daubed as racists for seeking to put their own children first.
RTWT. I have some quibbles but on balance it is an excellent piece.

All of this is planned. All the misery, all of the destruction and death, it is all planned. It is intentional and has a distinct end goal. That goal is a global aristocracy ruling over the teeming masses of humanity who live in abject poverty. The main and last remaining obstacle?

You.

What to do? You must be removed, you being White people who are insufficiently self-loathing and insist on things like our rights and having families.

Removing us is what it is all about. Absent White people the world is easy pickings for the cosmopolitan globalist elites.

This is why the abortion question is not as cut-and-dried as I once thought it to be. Despite the lofty words about all men being created equal, it is simply not the case. Men are not created equal. A billion White people are not the same as a billion Africans or mestizos. It is why an racially homogenous nation like Japan is a nearly crime free paradise compared to a racially homogenous country like Uganda. Removing the population of Europe and North America and replacing us with Africans and Central American mestizos won't result in an equivalent society with a darker hue.

The issue of being "pro-life" is a far more complicated question than we have been led to believe but there are very few voices that point this out. It is presented as a starkly dichotomous issue, pro baby murder or pro-life. Either you want women to be able to kill their children up to the moment they free of the birth canal or you don't want any woman anywhere to fail to carry to term any child. It is a complex question for sure and one everyone has mishandled at nearly every term.

One thing I know for certain, absent some sort of calamity we are looking at a migration of tens of millions of people who can't manage to make a go of it on continents teeming with life and into nations that simply can't absorb those tens of millions without in turn reducing their own heritage populations to the same levels of destitution these economic migrants are fleeing from. Western Europe has no will to stop it and apparently neither does North America. That leaves Russia and Eastern Europe and the Chinese alone at the top of the heap by the end of the this century or likely much sooner.

It is a tangled web and the ones weaving it are not your friends.

Keep Up The Pressure

With Roe v Wade gone, now is not the time to sit back and relax because the Left won't be. I just sent the following email to my Indiana General Assembly Representative, Ben Smaltz of District 52, and our State Senator, Dennis Kruse of District 14.
With the recent ruling in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization case that overturned Roe v Wade, we are asking the Indiana legislature to convene as quickly as possible to pass pro-life legislation that would outlaw the practice of abortion in the Hoosier state. We would ask you to be a leader in this legislation to protect the most vulnerable human lives.

For the last half century, abortion on demand has been imposed on this nation and the state of Indiana by a flawed decision that created a “right” to terminate a pregnancy and now that we are no longer bound by Roe it is time for Indiana to lead the way in protecting the unborn.

Not only do we ask you to convene as soon as practical to restrict abortion in the Hoosier state but also to take up and re-institute the definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman in the state of Indiana as it was prior to the wrongly decided Obergefell v. Hodges decision that imposed “gay marriage” on the entire country. As eloquently stated by Justice Clarence Thomas in his concurrence, many other Supreme Court decision including Obergefell rely on the same faulty reasoning as Roe v Wade. Indiana should be able to define marriage for ourselves without having “gay marriage” forced upon us by judicial fiat.

Thank you in advance for your attention, we will be closely monitoring the General Assembly in the days to come.
If you live in a red state, urge your state legislators to do something similar, banning abortion and passing legislation to challenge Obergefell. With a 2-1 majority on the Court, this is the time to keep pressing the gas pedal. Challenge "gay marriage", challenge any and every gun law.

Our enemies never rest, we cannot rest either.

Beyond Memes And Mockery

I posted this on Facebook this morning:

Hilarious memes and seething leftists aside, the overturning of Roe v Wade was something my wife and I didn't think we would ever see. It took decades of tireless fighting to finally get to this point but with a night to sleep on it I am reminded that this win came with a terrible cost.

Over 63 million human beings butchered in the womb over the last 49 years is an unspeakable toll and it would be unseemly to celebrate this legal victory without remembering those who are not around to also celebrate.

Give that number, 63 million, some somber consideration this morning. Then go back to trolling angry women who live in states where abortion will continue to be legal.

The abortion industry massacring people on an industrial scale for nearly half a century has weighed heavily on our minds for decades. Being pro-life was the single most influential factor in our voting decisions for most of the time we have been active in politics. Over the years I came to realize that it was immigration that should be the primary motivator, not abortion or gun rights, but being pro-life was still the most important thing for us when choosing who we voted for.

Many on the Left claim that chattel slavery is "America's original sin" but even slavery pales in comparison to the massive slaughter resulting from Roe v Wade. Most slaves survived and their descendants in America now have more opportunity and better lives than they would have if they had stayed in Africa. For those killed by abortionists with the willing cooperation of their mother and often the enthusiastic encouragement of their father, there is no chance to make a better life.

More on this later but it is a somber mood here in front of my computer this morning but a few good memes and videos should lighten the mood in a hurry.

Wait, I Take It Back! Reinstate Roe v Wade!

Not a joke, from this thread.

Shot...

Chaser...

I might never have sex again after seeing that.

Social Media All Day Today

There It Is

Roe v Wade is tossed into the septic tank of history where it belongs. I'll let the Babylon Bee do the rest.

On a Friday no less. The Night Of Rage is upon us.

What Happens Next?

In the wake of yesterday's Supreme Court decision recognizing that our Second Amendment rights don't end at the front door, leftists on social media were spazzing out. Based on their overheated rhetoric I am surprised anyone in America is still alive this morning.

Waiting in the wings is the long anticipated overturning of Roe v Wade/Casey v Planned Parenthood. Compared to a gun rights decision that most liberals don't understand, the leaked Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization opinion is something they do sort of understand. It means that in many states you will not be able to murder an unborn child. The prospect of that has many on the Left on the cusp of renewing the widespread political violence that has been held in check since Sniffy Joe took orifice. They are promising violence if/when Roe goes down:

TO OUR OPPRESSORS: IF ABORTIONS AREN'T SAFE, YOU'RE NOT EITHER.

Their "oppressors"? Christian churches, crisis pregnancy centers and members of the SCOTUS itself. This is an overt call for political violence from domestic terrorists but the FBI is probably more concerned with me posting memes of autistic frogs. I don't carry any water for the Catholic Church but I sure as hell don't want to see some lardass chicks with purple hair and their beta-orbiter "boyfriends" burning down churches. I may need to light a few candles to the patron saint of capping pedos, St Kyle Rittenhouse, and do a little protection detail duty in town.

After the rage, what next?

They are telegraphing what they want. In the name of "preserving democracy", what the Left really wants is to nuke the filibuster, break the 9 Justice model for the SCOTUS and pack the court with enough far left idealogues to guarantee that it will do whatever they want. Look at where we are heading. Stephen Breyer is retiring and moving to Miami or whatever old Jewish retirees do these days. That will leave Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor, both quite literally morons, especially Sotomayor, to be joined by another dimwit, Ketanji "Jumanji" Brown Jackson who can't define what a woman is. A dumb mestizo broad, a slightly less dumb Jewish broad and a super dumb African broad. What a dream team! Those three twits on the SCOTUS is a clear sign that we are in the end stage of America, not one of them is smart enough to operate a toll booth much less be making decisions that impact the lives of decent people.

I am already on record as stating that the current occupant of the White House is an illegitimate usurper. It is clear that the 2020 election was stolen to various degrees and that no sane person thinks Joe Biden received 81 million votes. I am not alone in this belief, the Texas GOP recently sent liberals to the fainting couch with similar language in their party platform:

We believe that the 2020 election violated Article 1 and 2 of the US Constitution, that various secretaries of state illegally circumvented their state legislatures in conducting their elections in multiple ways, including by allowing ballots to be received after November 3, 2020. We believe that substantial election fraud in key metropolitan areas significantly affected the results in five key states in favor of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.

Absolutely. They also affirmed the right of Texas to secede from the Union and to ignore Federal laws that violate the rights of Texans, not to mention calling homosexuality “an abnormal lifestyle choice”, again something self-evidently true. Talk of sundering the Union is growing more common and in a major change is coming from both sides of the political spectrum.

Returning to my belief that They will try to pack the court. The Supreme Court has had 9 justices since shortly after the Civil War. Closeted commie Franklin Delano Roosevelt attempted to increase the number of justices after many of his far-left proposals were soundly defeated when they reached the Supreme Court but he was stymied in his court-packing effort by the Congress despite having overwhelming Democrat majorities. Even the Democrats who rubber-stamped FDR's enormous expansion of the scope and reach of the Federal government were not willing to shatter the checks and balances by effectively neutering the Supreme Court. Of course he ended up getting what he wanted eventually as Justices retired and were replaced by FDR but he had to wait instead of packing the court (see: FDR’s Court-Packing Attempt for a brief history of this event).

While it is true that the number of Supreme Court Justices is not fixed in the Constitution, there is a powerful tradition and precedent for the 9. There are many such traditions and precedents that create the governing rules by which our government operates, and abiding by these rules is a sign that both sides are at least making an effort to play by the rules and operate in good faith. Should the Left decide to chuck the filibuster and pack the court in a rush to do so before they lose their majorities in both chambers this fall?

It would indicate that we are no longer even pretending to be operating under a uniform set of rules and laws. It would also mean a de facto declaration of war.  Carl von Clausewitz's famous axiom is "war is politics by other means" and it would appear that They have grown weary of trying the standard means.

It is not an exaggeration to suggest that there is no guarantee that elections will be held this fall. Biden was jabbering the other day and said the quiet part out loud:

He said: "We need more money. We don't just need more money for vaccines for children, we need more money to plan for the second pandemic. There's gonna be another pandemic."

Not "a future pandemic", not "the next pandemic". No, he said "the second pandemic" as if it was planned or something. Remember this guy's brain is basically tapioca at this point so if he used the term "second pandemic" it is because he heard someone else say it. The guy doesn't even know how to conduct a basic on-camera meeting without being told exactly what to do including sitting in his own chair and leaving when it is over

The list, and this is real and not photoshopped, directs Biden to enter the room, say hello to people, thank the participants and then leave. It is especially nice that they put "YOU" and "YOUR" in bold and all caps so he knows that it is important for him to enter the room and not assume someone else is going it.

A demented old man in the White House is getting the blame for the disastrous economic conditions and all signs are pointing toward a massive defeat for the Democrats in November. If Sniffy Joe's party loses both chambers, it is going to get ugly in the Congress with hearings and subpoenas and maybe even a ceremonial impeachment. I wouldn't trust for a second that they won't pull something out of their bag of tricks to try to postpone or suspend elections, including a second "pandemic" that is worse than the first. These shitheads are willing to roll the dice on nuclear war so they can line their pockets with loot from Ukraine, do you think they care about a few tens of millions of dead Americans if it means retaining power?

Our ruling class is not only elderly but evil, sociopaths without even a shred of humanity. There is no limit to what they are capable of and the spicy times are just getting started.

The GOP Giveth And The GOP Taketh Away

On the same day that the SCOTUS affirmed the 2nd Amendment, one of our Indiana Senators, Todd Young, voted to advance the “Safer Communities Act” which will do nothing of the sort. Todd is a pretty standard empty suit Republican and so he got a nice letter of encouragement from me just a few minutes ago...
Senator Young

Last month we wrote to you expressing our concerns about knee-jerk legislation in response to Buffalo and Uvalde that infringes on our Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Just today we read that your vote helped to advance just the sort of legislation we were concerned about, the ridiculously named “Safer Communities Act” that will obviously do nothing to make any community safer.

While the United States Supreme Court rightly ruled to restore our protections under the 2nd and 14th Amendments today, you voted to infringe on those same rights.

Perhaps you assume that with the primary election safely behind you that Hoosiers will have no choice  but to vote for you. In that belief you are mistaken. Neither of us will be casting votes for you in the fall and we will encourage other voters to abstain from supporting you. Will this potentially cost the GOP a Senate seat in what is considered the reliable state of Indiana? Maybe and if that happens, so be it. What is the point of voting for Republicans who consistently vote in opposition to the will of their own constituents? Being slightly less liberal than your Democrat opponent is not good enough.

While we both voted for you in 2016, we will not be doing so this November. Our two votes might not matter in the big picture but hopefully enough Hoosiers will recognize your failure to represent us that you will not return to the Senate in 2023. Maybe some time spent back in Indiana will remind you of what Hoosiers stand for, you clearly have forgotten during your time in D.C.
I wasn't going to vote for him anyway, and I sure am not voting for the Democrat. Hell I even peeked at the Facebook page for the Libertarian and of course he is another pothead who seems mostly concerned about legalizing weed in Indiana. Hard pass. Still, Todd Young needs to hear from Hoosiers that just slapping an R behind your name doesn't give you cover to be a douchebag.

A Win Is A Win

The Supreme Court ruled today that citizens have a right under the 2nd and 14th Amendment to carry a handgun for defense outside of the home.

This is self-evident but it took until 2022 for the Court to finally rule that our Constitutional rights don't stop when we step outside of our home.

A nice win but one that likely will be short lived. Now we wait for the overturning of Roe and the real fun to begin.

We Wuz Otolaryngologists And Sheeit!

This is a great example of people not understanding cause and effect.

Allow me to set the table.

It is without question that all academic organizations are desperately looking for that elusive successful black student. They go out of their way to admit blacks, often passing over more qualified and prepared White and Asian students, for no reason other than to stack their student demographics with more black and brown students at the cost of fewer Whites and Asians. This as we have been told for decades is inherently an unqualified good. Whether these students are qualified or suited to their field is irrelevant, all that matters is "representation", a fancy term that simply means "more spots for people who aren't White".

This is even true in academic fields that once were largely immune to this crap, primarily because people die if you screwed up in these fields: engineering, chemistry, aeronautics, especially medicine. If your Uber Eats driver is incompetent you get the wrong sammich. If your neurosurgeon is incompetent? You can end up a vegetable or dead.

Despite this (because of this?), the network of medical schools across America that were once tasked with the initial training of the people who would be the healers of our society have instead fallen into the same mindset of the rest of academia, emphasizing "racial justice" and other nonsensical notions.

It is not debatable that less qualified black and brown applicants are admitted to medical school compared to White and Asian students. The medical school application process is quite different from applying to an undergrad degree program. Prospective medical school applicants use an online portal provided by the AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges) called the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). It is a one stop shop, so your verified MCAT scores are loaded into the system, letters of recommendation, transcripts, etc. You pick the schools you want to apply to and simply submit your application through this portal. It is pretty slick and saves a lot of time, but it also provides a glimpse into the world of medical school applicants and admissions. Here is what we see when it comes to matriculants into American medical schools.

I have shared this before but it is noteworthy and needs to be spread far and wide. What this tells us is that in 2021-2022 the 2,124 black matriculants (those admitted to) medical schools had significantly lower...

- Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) scores

- Overall GPA

- Science GPA (important to keep pre-med students from loading their schedule with easier non-science classes)

...than any other racial group except American Indians and Eskimos, but their sample size is only 40 matriculants total. Here is a similar graph, I didn't put this together so I haven't verified the information but it looks correct (the MCAT scoring is different now):

Something else I found interesting. According to the 2020 U.S. census, around 18% of Americans self-identify as "Hispanic or Latino" while only around 12% identify primarily as black. The percentage likely goes up for younger people as the black percentage in America has stayed fairly static for a long time.

Around 9.3% of med school matriculants are black while less than 7% are "Hispanic or Latino" even though mestizo applicants have higher overall GPAs, science GPAs and MCAT scores than blacks. Mestizos also apply at much lower rates, from the above data there were 4,039 mestizo applicants versus 6,169 black applicants. Why are blacks being pushed into medical school while mestizos are not?

Something else interesting to note. According to what is reported by the AMCAS, the schools considered the most elite have higher than average percentages of black matriculants. In 2021, Johns Hopkins first year class had 14 black students out of a total of 120, or 11.6%. Harvard in 2021 reported 16 of 164 matriculants or around 10%. Stanford was 15 of 90 or a whopping 16.6%, up from only 7 matriculants just as recently as 2018 and more than half the percentage of Whites with 27 matriculants. The University of Michigan boasted 23 blacks in 2021 out of 170, or 13.5%. Meanwhile our Indiana system shows 33 blacks out of 366, or just 9% (Indiana's medical schools are all combined under Indiana University). What were once the best schools have a higher percentage of black matriculants even though blacks on average have lower scores, and I would be willing to be all the money I have that the black students being admitted to Johns Hopkins and Harvard have significantly lower scores and GPAs than White and Asian students who were passed over.

What this demonstrates is that in medicine, perhaps the most critical academic profession, less qualified candidates are being selected for no reason other than their race while other, more qualified candidates, are passed over also for no reason other than their race. We have personal experience with this.

I wasn't able to readily find statistics for med school graduation rates by race. I suspect that despite overt attempts to push black and brown med school students through the program, that the attrition rate for black and brown medical school students mirrors that of undergrad retention rates by race. I have written about this before, see: Participation Ribbon Egalitarianism Has No Place In Education and also More On Educational Egalitarianism but in a nutshell, even as we have pushed more and more blacks into college, the results continue to be awful with nearly 60% of black undergraduate matriculants having failed to complete their degree after six years

I am sure the medical school washout rate is much lower but I also am confident that the completion rate for blacks in medical school trails Whites and Asians by a not-insignificant margin.

Back to the article. It is written by Usha Lee McFarling (see giant teeth to the left) and focuses on the high rates of dropping out or dismissal of black residents. As this is 2022, of course the only possible explanation is RAYCISMZ!

A STAT investigation found that Black residents either leave or are terminated from training programs at far higher rates than white residents. The result of this culling — long hidden, dismissed, and ignored by the larger medical establishment — is that many Black physicians have been unable to enter lucrative and extremely white specialties such as neurosurgery, dermatology, or plastic surgery. It’s a key reason these fields have been unable to significantly diversify their ranks even as the total number of residency spots has increased nationally.

Medical school is highly competitive and very stressful, and that is intentional. So is residency. That is by design as being a doctor means making decisions, often very quickly, that have life and death consequences. This is especially true as you get into the more challenging, and therefore more lucrative, specialties. The system is designed to weed out people who can't hack it. It used to be that we appreciated this as a people, no one wants a brain surgeon who freezes up under pressure. My dad told me about his experience in medical school many years ago and it was a lot of messing with their minds to cull the weak. There is less of that now and the medical profession has suffered for it.

The article starts out with the story of Rosandra Daywalker:

Rosandra Daywalker had always excelled. The daughter of Haitian and Jamaican parents in Miami — one an auto parts clerk, the other a nurse — she’d received a nearly perfect score on the SAT, earned a full academic scholarship to the University of Miami, graduated summa cum laude from Morehouse Medical School, and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.

Then came the icing on the cake: She matched into the elite and highly competitive specialty of otolaryngology, a field she’d fallen for after watching an elegant head-and-neck cadaver dissection in medical school. Standing on the stage during Morehouse’s Match Day festivities in 2015, Daywalker beamed. Her family could not have been more proud. The fact that fewer than 1% of otolaryngologists are Black seemed a distant concern.

A couple of things jumped out at me immediately. She got a "nearly perfect score on the SAT" but what does that mean? It could mean a lot of things but we just simply don't know. Then were are told she received a "full academic scholarship" to the University of Miami, hardly an elite school by any measure, before going on to medical school at Morehouse Medical School. Morehouse is a historically black college and while I don't have access to the full profiles of med schools including average GPA and MCAT scores, I did at one point and you will have to take my word for it that the historically black college medical schools weren't getting the best and brightest.

She finally matched into otolaryngology, basically head and neck, which is a very competitive field. That is when things started to go wrong and we get a clue right away

But when her supportive female program director left, everything changed. Suddenly, Daywalker could do no right. She was told she wasn’t closing clinic notes fast enough, even though she thought she closed them as quickly as other residents. She was told to be on campus all day even though other residents often worked from home. Her previously excellent performance reviews dropped in every area. According to a lawsuit Daywalker brought against UTMB, she was intimidated in the operating room, denied rotations she requested, falsely accused of posing safety issues, subject to faculty members’ hostile comments about Black and Hispanic patients, and retaliated against for raising concerns about how a Black patient was treated.

Her supportive female program director left and now on her own she couldn't hack it. Notice lines like this:

She was told she wasn’t closing clinic notes fast enough, even though she thought she closed them as quickly as other residents.

She *thought* she was closing them fast enough, meaning that she wasn't. Pretty quickly she started to unravel, having panic attacks and then going on medical leave. In other words, the rigors of the program caught up to her after her "supportive female program director" wasn't around to run cover for her. Eventually she left the residency and of course is now suing the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston because her failure must be their fault. Also of interest was this blurb from the response to her suit:

Rosandra Daywalker sounds like a perfectly rational and balanced person that I definitely would want performing surgery on unimportant body parts like the head and neck.

The rest of the article are sob stories from blacks who couldn't hack it in their residency programs. There are lots of them, highlights in red mine:

Data on residency dismissal by race have not been routinely collected by national medical organizations and are frustratingly difficult to locate. But the few numbers STAT could find are startling and lopsided: While Black residents account for about 5% of all residents, they accounted for nearly 20% of those who were dismissed in 2015, according to an unpublished analysis by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

That analysis showed that in every field examined, including specialties that have historically been more welcoming to Black physicians such as family medicine and pediatrics, Black residents were dismissed at rates higher than white residents. The same analysis showed that within the field of surgery, 12% of Black residents were dismissed in 2015, while just 2% of white residents were. (ACGME officials cautioned that the analysis should be viewed with caution because the numbers of Black trainees is so small.)

In the more elite medical specialties, the numbers may be even bleaker. A 2020 paper found that people from groups underrepresented in medicine make up 6% of residents in orthopedic surgery, but 17% of those dismissed. In neurosurgery, the numbers terminated some years are higher than 20%, said Owoicho Adogwa, an assistant professor of clinical neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati who last year co-founded the American Society of Black Neurosurgeons to help stem high attrition rates. Only a handful of those who leave neurosurgery training programs are able to find spots in new ones, he said. Most switch to other specialties, often non-surgical, while some leave medicine altogether, still carrying the massive debt of their medical school loans.

Clearly there is a pattern to be noticed. All across the spectrum, blacks are washing out of residency at much higher rates than Whites. The question is why this is happening. Ms. Usha Lee McFarling thinks she knows, and I am sure she decided this long before she started writing: RACISM!

That is of course not the only possible explanation or even the most plausible.

We have already seen that blacks with lower qualifications are being admitted to medical school in contrast with their White and Asian peers.

Shockingly, when these black and brown matriculants get through the academic portion of schools and away from the protective cocoon of sympathetic faculty and staff in a university setting, they seem to founder. Steve Sailer put it nicely....

Perhaps you could add in that people who have impulse control issues as a group might not be as well suited to occupations where high, constant stress levels are commonplace. Not everyone is suited to every job. I always thought I would follow in my father's footsteps and become a doctor but apparently if you can't stand the sight of blood and are terrible at math, it cuts your medical school dreams short in a hurry. I am not suited to being a doctor or any number of other professions from engineering to the NBA. That isn't unfair, it is simply how it is so I chose to do things that do suit my particular skill set. That is part of being an adult.

When you flood the pipeline of medical students with matriculants who are not up to par with their peers, it is inevitable that you will see much higher attrition rates along the way, both in medical school and later in their career path. It is unfair to those washing out, not because it is "racist", but instead because mostly White liberals have set them up to fail and if you wash out of medicine after med school, your chances of paying off those big medical school loans gets much lower.

Not to worry though, the same author of the original report published a follow-up report the next day:

You can probably already guess. Her recommendations are....

Collect the data, which means requiring onerous reporting for residency terminations by race:

(Edjah) Nduom’s group is calling for dissemination of national data on residency termination by race and an accounting of residents who are dismissed or withdraw from individual programs so medical students can avoid programs with a poor history of graduating Black residents — and so these programs can be held accountable.

This is rather blatant blackmail. No woke university administration want to see their residency program stand out as one that washes out too many blacks so you can be sure there will be extra pressure to coddle black residents, just as there is throughout the process of becoming a doctor.

Next, improving "protections" for black residents....

(Vanessa) Grubbs’ group plans to stage a demonstration in August to raise awareness about the unjust dismissals of Black doctors and trainees. What’s needed, she said, are firm due process guidelines, and sanctions from ACGME or even the Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services, which funds residency programs and used the cudgel of withholding funding to desegregate hospitals in the 1960s.

At the very least, she said, residents should be allowed to have a faculty member or faculty member in the room with them during disciplinary proceedings. “It’s so unfair for a resident to be fighting this by themselves,” she said.

Notice the reference to withholding funding. That is the ultimate stick to bring programs that are not sufficiently woke into line, because those funds are what keeps the administrators pulling down those fat salaries. I GOLd (guffawed out loud) at the idea of residents needing "a faculty member or faculty member in the room", nice editing job btw, in the room to hold their hands. A resident has completed four years of undergrad and four years of medical school so generally they are at least 26 years old but can't deal with a disciplinary proceeding without a security blanket. When I was 26 I had been married for six years, been in the workforce for four years and had three children. These residents are incapable of responding to a disciplinary proceeding without a babysitter? I wonder if White and Asian students will get bodyguards or just blacks?

Then we need more "support" instead of "weeding out" of residents. The goal again is not to make sure that the best people are proceeding through the program but instead to make sure more blacks complete the programs, whether they should or not. Patients are going to be the ones who will suffer. Finaly they are urged to "not wait" to ask for "help".

Shenelle Wilson, an Atlanta pelvic reconstructive surgeon who has set up a program to mentor aspiring urologists, said residents should document everything that happens to them, from achievements and praise they receive, to racist behavior they encounter. “I was raised by a lawyer who made me write down everything,” she said, adding that she used the material to contest claims being made against her, such as not covering shifts for other residents. “I had the receipts. They can be vague in their feedback and criticism, but you have to have 1,000 examples to counter what they say.”

Wilson also advised residents to send regular emails to supervisors asking for feedback and asking specifically if there is anything the resident should address. “If they don’t say anything back, that’s tacit agreement they see nothing wrong,” she said. “Then you’re building your case. You have to craft your story.”

And be sure all of that documentation is going to an outside email, Bradford warned, because one of the first things terminated residents lose is access to their institutional email.

The focus seems to be on "building a case" in case you get in trouble instead of focusing on doing your job, writing down every time you actually do your job and badgering supervisors to get documentation that you are in fact doing your job. Maybe if black residents focused more on their position instead of "building a case" to defend themselves from being disciplined, they wouldn't be disciplined so often? Just a thought.

Ms. McFarling closes her article with this gem:

In recent years, about 8 students have matched into the nation’s roughly 234 neurosurgery residency spots each season. This year, Nduom, who tracked the numbers on Match Day via the many joyous announcements made on Twitter, said a record high 25 Black candidates had matched. In orthopedic surgery, 53 Black students matched this year. These young doctors are about to start their journey toward becoming specialty physicians.

The question is: Will they be allowed to finish?

Allowed to finish? Talk about your loaded language, as if evil White doctors are simply pointing at black residents and declaring that they may not pass. What is worse is that many or most blacks believe that is the case.

This is in line with the first article where Rosandra Daywalker claimed that her career in otolaryngology was "stolen" from her, rather than her simply not being up to the rigors of the program.

Most medical schools and teaching hospitals seem loaded with wokeness so I am confident that they really, really want to have as many black residents as they can but there are certain minimum standards that simply must be met for people in the medical field. I think any rational person would want it that way, you want your doctor to be the most qualified person to care for you.

An already outsized and rapidly growing area of investment in the medical field is not going toward medical breakthroughs or improving patient care and outcomes. It is instead inwardly focused on the medical community that is perceived as "too White", a rather odd accusation as virtually all of modern medicine is the result of White physicians and researchers.

One unavoidable result of this effort to darken the American medical community is that patients will assume that a black physician is less qualified than a White or Asian physician, knowing that they have been given advantageous treatment from start to finish. That demeans and diminishes the accomplishments of the many black doctors who did made it on their own but even those blacks doctors seem more interested in racial quotas than they are in recognition for their real accomplishments.

The other, more ominous result, is that the quality of medical care in America will continue to slide downward. How can it not when less qualified applicants are constantly admitted to medical schools and residents who are not suited to a role are pushed through anyway out of fear by administrators that they will look bad in front of their peers at cocktail parties?

Competent medical care is going to become a scarce commodity, so I recommend putting "find a competent middle age White or Asian doctor" on your prepping list.

Check Off That Box

It was a balmy 97 degrees here today so of course what better way to spend the hot and sunny afternoon than putting up hay for this winter.

254 bales of first cutting grass and alfalfa mix hay is now in the mow. We still had hay left over but now the barn on both sides is nicely supplied for the colder months.

We got a good price on it, first cutting tends to be a little cheaper anyway but it is great for what we need. I would like to get a bit more stacked in the barn and some round bales of cheap grass hay for them to chomp on. My concern was that if the heat and dry weather continued the next cutting may be poor and prices could skyrocket on hay. If they do we are in good shape anyway and if they stay low we can keep putting hay in the barn.

It was stupid hot in the sun putting bales on the elevator to ride up to the barn but luckily I have my boys to help plus an Amish guy who we are working with on this, he needs someone to pull his wagons around and we needed an extra hand to put ours away so it worked out for everyone.

At a minimum now I know that my heifer will have enough to eat this winter as will the horses. That is a relief, one less thing on the list to worry about for now. Whether you survive a bad time or not will depend on how you spend your hours in the good times.

Welcome To Our Future

Just a quick peek into the crystal ball to see what America will look like when mestizos are the majority in North America.

It doesn't look like "actual" body amor, just a prop. A male spider monkey only weighs around 24 pounds so you probably can't put a plate in the carrier.

Don't be fooled into thinking that all mestizos are like the nice people who mow your lawn or run taco trucks. Some of the nastiest, most vicious people in the Americans are the descendants of the Aztecs and Mayans, the MS-13 types.

Our new country is gonna be great!

The Grift Of The Century Grifts Onward

If you are like most people, you will have noticed that the war in Ukraine has largely faded from the public eye, other than Biden trying to blame Vodka Man Bad for high gas prices. It has been going on for months and it is apparent to even the most diehard "The Russians are on the ropes!" bloggers that Ukraine is not going to pull off a valiant victory thanks to plucky grannies with AKs gunning down Russkies. In fact it seems like life is getting worse for everyone thanks to the response from the West and that Russia is poised to come out of this war with all of the strategic goals accomplished and having watched the West deal itself a potentially fatal self-inflicted wound.

It is also self-evident to the observant that this whole thing has been an opportunity for a massive grift, a cash grab on a scale almost unheard of (see: The Grift Of The Century and Like I Said, The Grift Of The Century). No one in Ukraine is "winning" or benefitting from this prolonged war other than the people who are skimming from foreign aid or selling Western munitions out of the back of a truck to the highest bidder. The Ukrainians are going to lose and the Russians are going to win. But the war isn't over, the West isn't encouraging Ukraine and Russia to come to the negotiating table. Just the opposite.

The United Kingdom’s new army chief has warned that British soldiers “must prepare to fight in Europe once again” amid the Ukraine-Russia war — and as concern is mounting that Belarus troops could join the Russian invasion.

General Sir Patrick Sanders, in a message to his soldiers, said Russia’s attack on Ukraine “underlines our core purpose to protect the UK by being ready to right and win wars on land,” according to Sky News.

Sir Patrick, who just took over the top army post, described himself as the first chief of the general staff since 1941 to take command of the army “in the shadow of a land war in Europe involving a continental power.

“There is now a burning imperative to forge an Army capable of fighting alongside our allies and defeating Russia in battle,” he wrote.

"Sir" Patrick here is talking about getting into a European slugfest with Russia. How many of the finest young Englishmen died in the prior two land wars in Europe? Somewhere around 383,000 from military actions in World War II and 887,000 in World War I. Over one million, mostly young men, slaughtered and for what? So Europe could surrender itself to African and Middle Eastern migrants?

NATO is warning that the Ukraine war could "last for years"

How can Ukraine keep getting pummeled for years? Why would they? You can only figure that out if you figure out who is benefitting.

Meanwhile a NATO nation, Lithuania, is cutting off transit between Russia via Belarus and the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad

Lithuanian authorities have banned the transit through their territory of goods to the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad that are subject to European Union sanctions, according to the national rail service.

The enclave – home to the Russian Baltic Fleet and a deployment location for Moscow’s nuclear-capable Iskander missiles – is sandwiched on the Baltic coast between Lithuania and Poland, both NATO members, and has no land border with Russia.

Kaliningrad has no direct access to Russia so cutting them off via land means only sea and indirect air flights are able to get there. Russia is not pleased of course, as Lithuania acts as a proxy to provoke them.

Russian officials have stated that Lithuanian’s move is an egregious breach of international law and akin to a full blown economic blockade and an attempt to “place the region in an economic chokehold.”

Russia has warned that unless the ‘blockade’ of Kaliningrad is lifted immediately, Moscow may have no choice but to “untie its hands” and rectify the situation by any means necessary.

Another clear provocation and this time by Lithuania, a Baltic nation with all of 2.8 million people. Should Russia take some actions to "rectify the situation", the Lithuanian people can look forward to be caught in the middle of an expanded war that would devastate their country. I wonder if they are on board with that? I also wonder if the English are looking forward to shipping their sons off to die on the continent once again?

Keeping this conflict going serves no purpose other than lining the pockets of oligarchs and the military-industrial complex. A lot more Europeans might die just so Raytheon can boost quarterly profits.
