What kind of grotesque faggotry is that?
I am a pretty hardcore Beretta guy. While typing this I am wearing a Beretta t-shirt. If my life or the life of a loved one was on the line and I had to choose one handgun to use to defend them or me, I would pick my 92X Centurion. My hunting/clay shooting shotguns are Berettas. But this is not a good look for them. Obviously.
I guess they are trying to capture that all important make-up wearing sodomite gun owner marketplace, that must be a consumer demographic in the high single digits of people. Meanwhile they look like complete fools. I had to look up this degenerate freak, Jeffree Star (real name Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr.) and he apparently is a multi-millionaire who does make-up videos and has over 2.5 billion views on Youtube? WTF?!
Maybe giving handguns to mentally ill people is a bad idea, or maybe it is a really good idea.
Regardless it is one of those asinine things marketing people tell gun people. Gun manufacturers and groups are endlessly talking about how many new gun owners are non-White and/or women, trying to appeal to these demographics while at the same time doing shit like this to alienate their actual customers. You see it all over the place. I don't watch TV but when I workout at the Y they have TVs on so I see them in the periphery of my vision and every damn commercial is some combination of a race-mixed family, a non-White family and/or faggotry. They are trying to appeal to these smaller groups while spitting in the face of the majority of Americans. When I see ads on TV or Instagram posts like this one from Beretta, it sours me on their brand and I think it is counter-productive, getting more so by the day.
It is always smart business to seek to expand your customer base but never by insulting your current customers. There is an old saying in business, it is a lot easier to keep a current customer than it is to find news ones.
