Dude was using the rifle Rambo style, holding and firing it like a pistol. He would have been better off if he had had a pistol. Try firing a rifle off hand like that guy was doing and you'll see what I mean.

Well, the headline says homicide, so he hit the target, may have been ugly but got the job done. Almost looked like shot 3 may have ricocheted off the ground and may have hit him in the neck or face.
After further review, I do believe shot 3 fired at the man on the ground hits near his left hand and ricochets off the ground and hits him near or in the left eye. In slow motion you can see his head pop back a little then his whole body shuts down and he stops trying to get away.
