Completely Baseless Prognostication

It is the last day of one of the worst years in living memory.

If the last five years have taught us anything, they have taught us that our ability to predict the future even a year ahead is negligible. John Wilder always does a (maybe) tongue in cheek prediction for the upcoming year, see: Predictions 2022: The Funniest Predictions You’ll See This Year, but here are some things I think are more likely than not to happen in 2020. Nothing is out on a limb here, you don't need a crystal ball to see this year going badly.

It is almost certain that 2022 will bring some sort of major financial crisis, real or contrived. There are too many plates spinning right now too keep them all in the air. The only question will be whether it is one plate that falls or all of them. One falling will be a major problem, all of them falling will mean global catastrophe. The stock market is wildly overvalued, real estate is overpriced, banks are lending out more and more "money" that doesn't exist. This can't keep going forever and I suspect that right now there is only a razor thin margin between keeping up the fantasy and things coming unglued.

Not to be a Debbie downer but I also am almost 100% certain that we are seeing only the early stages of hyper-inflation and that the impact of having such a huge influx of new "money" is still building up. Inflation can be like a snowball, as pressure pushes up wages the extra income allows people to spend more on stuff which raises prices and in turn wage pressure keeps building. Inflation unchecked is a conflagration that keeps spreading as long as it has fuel and the fuel in this case is make-believe money that no one seems to have any interest in slowing down.

A continuation of urban violence and a return of political violence. After a record-breaking 2021 for murders in many cities, there doesn't seem to be any reason to think that blaque folkz will suddenly learn impulse control, the opposite seems likely as more and more seasoned cops retire or move to smaller jurisdictions where they are appreciated. While antifa and bLM were fairly quiet in 2021, I expect that they will grow impatient in 2022 as nothing they were promised comes to fruition. They live for violent revolution, or at least they think they do, so it is just a matter of time before they explode back on the scene.

This is an off-cycle election year and traditionally the party of the "President" in his first term loses seats in the mid-term elections. I am going on record now to say I think this year will defy that trend. All of this talk of a "red wave" is foolish and ignores demographic trends. While I am not sure what will be the difference that pushes the election to the Dems, I am sure that something will and that something will be some sort of crisis. Abortion is a possibility, while the GOP has dangled overturning Roe v Wade for decades to get out the vote, Democrats will use losing the "right" to murder babies to get out the vote. When the smoke settles in November 2022, my prediction is that the Dems end up with a real majority in the Senate, stripping Joe Manchin of his current perch as kingmaker, and they increase their majority in the House. This will embolden and enable them to really push their agenda and the filibuster won't survive the year.

Speaking of politics, I don't think that 2022 ends with either Joe Biden or Kamala "Whore Of Babylon" Harris in the administration occupational regime. Biden's deterioration is obvious even to the Left and they need someone more energetic to push their agenda. No one likes Harris, she will get pushed out one way or the other. I don't know who to expect to be in the Oval Office come December 31st, 2022 but it is a safe bet it will be someone who is not a White guy, unless it is a fag like Pete Bootygag.

I am still pretty stunned that we haven't had an obvious false flag shooting to drum up support for sweeping gun control but I expect that is in the plans. It would be another way to get out the vote, especially if the false flag involved children to tug at the heart-strings of suburban White women who can be relied on to be absolute sheep when it comes to the ballot box. Have I mentioned about repealing the 19th Amendment? Everything the Left is planning relies on a disarmed populace and just the opposite has been happening as more and more people are locked and loaded than ever before. Stopping the arming of the peasants has got to be high on their wish list.

There isn't much to be said about cultural changes, expect to see more degeneracy, more race-mixing on TV and in advertisements, more "gurl powah!" bullshit in movies that no one will see. The "culture" in the West is a cesspool and there are no signs of that changing. Download old movies and books brothers, I would rather rewatch a movie from the 80s than the trash being pumped out now.

The big news of the last two years, the Covid-19 "pandemic" is losing steam for most people. There are still insane people wearing masks and other "safety" gear but regular people are starting to see the whole thing for the hoax it has turned out to be. However the loldemic has shown the usefulness of a "public health emergency" to control the population and that leads me to believe we might see a new virus that is a lot more lethal in 2022. We still don't know the endgame of the elites when it comes to Covid and the notavaxx but you can be sure of this: Bill Gates doesn't give a shit about people getting sick so whatever they have planned is bad for all of us.

Another prediction, most of you reading this will have a pretty decent year even as the world around us is collapsing so you can expect to get lots of admonitions throughout 2022 from me urging you to use the time you have been given. Things are going to be just fine, right until the moment they aren't.

What are your predictions for the new year?

Decorative Diversity

While walking today I was listening to a podcast featuring Ed Dutton, the Jolly Heretic, and the Zman. Very interesting and wide-ranging conversation, more about that in a moment, but something Z said was very interesting. He used the term "decorative diversity" to describe the desperate attempt by universities to stock up their student body with non-White/Asian/Jewish students to make the place seem more diverse. Now no one in any position of authority really thinks that adding lower IQ blacks to your student body improves your academic setting but it is apparently a requirement so the White donor class feels like they are "doing their part", while living in neighborhoods free of diversity.

Anyway, decorative diversity to make the photos in campus brochures look vibrant has been going on for a long time but it has started to change. For many years the decorative diversity was confined almost exclusively to meaningless academic disciplines like Afro-American Studies and various other liberal arts degrees where the profs could give them high marks regardless of the work they produced. Everyone knew it and just accepted it as a cost of doing business, and no one took them all that seriously because they weren't in a position to do much damage. Or so we thought.

What has changed over the more recent years is that decorative diversity is bleeding over into the hard sciences in a major way. Engineering, medicine, chemistry, all of the once safe disciplines that have real life consequences are giving way to decorative diversity. If an Afro-Gender-Queer Studies major writes a moronic paper, no one cares but if a decorative diversity grad in engineering designs a bridge that collapses randomly or is the ER doc when you arrive after a car accident? Lives are going to be lost.

Diversity for the sake of diversity is ridiculous when it is in the liberal arts but when it impacts real lives in the real world? It is going to be deadly.

Anyway, here is the conversation between Dutton and Zman. Very interesting, Dutton starts off kind of spazzy but settles down and they cover lots of great material....

Cash Is King....

...until it is not.

A comment on my post about incoming price changes for our stuff made the point that cash will be useless in a SHTF situation. In short that you are better off converting extra cash into tangible assets while you can.

I don't disagree. Much. I am a big advocate of tangible assets over intangible assets like "money" and "investments" that only exist in a computer somewhere. My post from 2019 still holds true today: The Four Gs Of Investing In 2020. The four Gs in question are guns (and ammo), gold (precious metals in general), grub (long term shelf stable foods) and ground (real estate property). What makes them all similar is that you can touch them for real. Silver coins are not going to disappear when the internet shuts down, unlike your checking account or cryptocurrency. They can't create new ground like they do money. You get the idea.

So what about cash?

Cash, paper money, is only valuable insofar as everyone agrees that it is. The full faith and credit of the U.S. is the punchline to a bad joke right now and when it goes tits up? Cash will be useful for wiping your hind end or as a firestarter and not much else. You are much better off having stuff that has intrinsic value.

When the shit hits the fan, there will likely be a period of some length between the beginning of the collapse and things going completely sideways. Maybe a week, maybe a month or more. During that time I imagine that we will see a gradual deterioration of services like credit/debit card processing, banking in general, and the EBT/food stamp system. Especially for smaller, local merchants, this might be a time when they will stop taking electronic payment either because the system won't be working or they don't trust that they will be able to access those funds readily from their bank. But people are still deeply conditioned to see cash as having value. Prices will go up rapidly, you might need to offer $200 to fill up your vehicle but again people are psychologically conditioned to assume things will go back to normal, whatever the evidence might say otherwise. Many of them will, at least initially, be willing to take cash even if they won't take your card.

Imagine some sort of scenario where things are deteriorating in the cities in a hurry and the banking system is largely shut down. Your local Bubba at the gas station still has fuel but it is going in a hurry. If you want to top the fuel off in all of your vehicles and gas cans, you would be well advised to have some cash to work with because Bubba the rural gas station owner won't be quite to the point of considering precious metal or barter. At least not right away.

So I recommend having some stacks of cash on hand, at least $500 but better to have more if you can afford it. This shouldn't take the place of the 4 Gs but rather be a supplement to it. If you have to choose between having cash and having ammo, have the ammo. But if you can swing it, set some cash aside periodically and don't touch it. Ten bucks here, twenty bucks there, and it adds up in a hurry.

It is all part of a strategy of not having all of your eggs in one basket and preparing for any eventuality because no one knows what will happen exactly or how. Get some cash on hand, have the 4 Gs, stock up on stuff for barter like extra toilet paper and bottles of booze.

The more you diversify your preps, the better off you will be when you eventually need them and having some extra cash on hand just makes sense.

Price Increases Incoming?

Things are pretty good in the firearms business right now, I have been talking about this for a while. For the first time since obtaining my FFL I was able to order a Glock 19 and 17 right from one distributor's website this morning. But things might be tightening up or at least going up in price. A different distributor is warning of price increases coming in a couple of days...

While I am not sure which vendors specifically they are talking about, this group mostly sells guns and knives.

There have been specific warnings of price increases from manufacturers of body armor as well, and that seems to be driven by increases in raw material prices. Ammo prices remain stubbornly high and oddball ammo calibers are still tough to get at any price.

As I keep saying, it won't take much in the way of civil unrest or new lockdowns to see the supply of firearms, ammo and accessories evaporate again. Do with this new info as you see fit....

Secretary Of Which State Again?

Trump's Secretary of State. Presented without comment....

The Largest Medical Experiment Ever Conducted

I don't say this lightly: this might be the most important video I have ever watched. Nothing ties everything that is going on currently together quite like this.

Being rich gets you a lot of stuff normal people can't access and being one of the ultra-rich gets you stuff unimaginable to most of us. But in the end the grave claims us all, rich or poor. It is the great unachievable dream for the most elite in any society and cheating death is the stuff of legends and fantasy for all of human history.

Is that about to change?

This video at least seems to suggest it might be. By any measure, the response to the Covid-19 "pandemic" has been odd. The roll-out of the "vaccine" was perhaps the weirdest part. The speed at which it appeared and the secrecy surrounding much of the rollout, all speaks to something squirrelly going on, or at the least that there was something going on beyond just the introduction of a new pharmaceutical.

Is it really possible that this whole thing was designed as or at least utilized Covid as a serendipitous trigger to try out a gene therapy on a massive scale? I don't think it is more unreasonable than a lot of other suspicions people have. On the other hand, I don't have the scientific background to know one way or the other, but I do know this: I wouldn't put anything past the top sliver of society because they have proven over and over their willingness to do whatever they deem necessary, no matter the cost to the rest of us.

Addendum From Bracken

Concerned American linked to my prior post, The Community Quartermaster, and also to a post from Matt Bracken at American Partisan from a couple years ago, Arm Thy Neighbor. CA has an encyclopedic memory for similar posts. Anyway, Matt said a lot of solid stuff and covers in more detail why you might want to have extra firearms on hand, and many of the comments are good as well although the comment section at AP is closed now as this is an older article. Matt recommends revolvers as the simplest to use for a non-gun owner:

That is why I encourage you to buy a few extra firearms in anticipation of this future need. I would suggest that a revolver is the simplest entry-level firearm to provide to a non-shooting neighbor. There are no magazines, safety catches or slides to learn to manipulate. You simply open the cylinder, insert the bullets, close the cylinder and the revolver is ready to go. A revolver has the shortest “learning curve” of any firearm. Anyone can learn basic gun safety and effective close-range self-defense with a revolver in one afternoon. In dire extremes you could hand a revolver to a non-shooter after a five-minute period of instruction and dry-firing. Revolvers are intuitive; you can even see if they are loaded or unloaded simply by looking at the cylinder.

Now that was written in 2019 when revolvers were cheap and plentiful, not in 2021 when you can barely obtain them. I wish I had gone to gun shows and flea markets back in 2019 and picked up 5-6 used revolvers but that is neither here nor there now. Simple is best. Revolvers, .22 rifles, pump shotguns. The SKS would be great if the price hadn't skyrocketed on them.

Like I said, Matt covered a lot of good points in a short time so jump over to American Partisan and read his post as well.

Absolute Trash"obtaining" the new Matrix movie and expecting the worst, I somehow found that it was even more awful than my low expectations. The action was boring, the endless dialogue was terrible, the plot was dumb as hell. Talk about a movie that never should have been made. I ended up shutting it off and deleting the file about 2/3 of the way through, I couldn't stand to even finish it. According to IMdB I am not alone, it has grossed less than $70 million worldwide and has an awful rating while the new Spider-Man movie just passed a billion worldwide. I am embarrassed for Keanu Reeves, I imagine he got a nice payday for mailing in his performance, and it was awful, but doesn't he have enough money already?

Leave it to a couple of dudes who became trannies to try to resurrect a beloved film franchise, stuff it with PC "every scientist and leader is a POC, chick or homo" nonsense and produce an absolute stinker.

It isn't worth even the time it takes to watch it. Give this one a wide berth.

The Community Quartermaster

All of us are in different places. Some of us are well established in our careers, others just getting started. Some are like me and have drastically changed their career path, perhaps more than once! We might have a wife and kids or be on our own, retired or just starting out in life.

Depending on where you are in life and your specific circumstances, your financial means and a host of other factors will be different. As a personal example, our main small business provides us with all of the income we need for the household basics, plus some savings here and there and we are still able to splurge on unnecessary stuff, eating out and trinkets, pretty much whenever we want. It helps that we don't have expensive tastes in general, while I grew up thinking it was normal for a kid to eat out weekly and have steak or crab legs, now our idea of a treat is a local Mexican place where we can both eat including the tip for under $30. Our little side-gig gun shop is mostly for fun and also a way to fund my firearms purchases. That also means buying my gear at wholesale, something most people can't do.

Thanks to the utter ineptness of the ruling junta, and if we are to be honest the incompetence (often intentional) of every administration stretching back at least to George H.W. Bush, including Orange Man, the personal economic situation of people right now varies drastically. Some people are doing absolutely great, an OTR trucker I know says young guys who are pushing are pulling down $40k per month, while others are really struggling. Jobs are plentiful in most places and wages are way up but inflation is destroying those wage increases and then some.

If you are one of those doing well, and even if you have lots of guns already, you might be tempted to...BUY MOAR GUNZ!

I get that and might occasionally indulge in some of that myself. Something I heard a little about on a podcast and that got me thinking might be worth considering, at least for those who are doing well right now.

One, you can only shoot so many guns at a time. One is none and two is one is the rule and most of us stretch that out. But after you have enough rifles and handguns for yourself and everyone in your household a few times over, the extras are just....extra.

Two, not everyone who is useful is going to be prepared as well as you. Your initial reaction might be "fuck 'em, they get what they deserve" and in many cases that might be true. Your asshole nephew who voted for Biden and is quintuple jabbed, the one who treats you like a leper? Whatever happens to him is on him, not you. But what about your cousin the carpenter who just kept his head down and tried to follow the rules, until there weren't anymore rules to follow? The one with a sweet wife and three wonderful little kids, are you going to let them get devoured by the mob because he didn't heed your warning? Or your neighbor the deer hunter who is lethal with a 30-06 and maybe has a revolver for protection but never thought he needed anything more?

There are going to be a lot of people who are not prepared but still deserve your help, either because they are blood or because they are useful. It is short-sighted to dismiss them. You have to sleep sometime and playing the Lone Wolf Survivalist Dude is a great way to end up a corpse. In short, you are going to need friends and those friends might not, in fact probably will not, be as well prepared as you. You can smirk at them when the feral urbanite hordes are overrunning you or you can be smart and think ahead a little bit.

So perhaps instead of buying some safe queen gun you don't really need, you get an inexpensive but reliable AR set-up or three? Or maybe a few decent 9mm or 12 gauges? There are a ton of inexpensive 12 ga pump shotties out there that are decent quality. Maybe it isn't a gun to impress the boys at the range but it works.

Right now is a great time to stuff the safe with guns, even if it isn't a great time to get ammo. There are lots of guns I would like to get but few that I need to get right now. Sure I haven't ever owned a .44 magnum revolver and that sounds like fun to have but I don't really need one. Having a few extra AR-15s might be a better investment.

In the same school of thought, maybe invite those same people out to shoot a few with you. You don't need to hard sell them on "prepping" necessarily but getting them used to shooting will pay dividends later. Handing out rifles to people who don't know how to load them isn't all that useful.

Not everyone will be as tacticool as you, so you can either die alone with a smug expression about your preps on your face or maybe invest in other people now. Of course this is not intended to replace your own preps, if you aren't personally in the place you need to be, invest in that but if you have a good foundation and if you have some extra income, maybe it is time to start thinking about being a resource for people who can in turn be a resource to you...

The State Of America In One Story

(This post is seriously lacking in Christmas cheer. You have been warned.)

There has been a story dominating local news all week and it really captures just how utterly fucked up our society is at this point. A 9 year old boy in Fort Wayne was beaten to death last weekend:

The boy in question is was one Elijah T. Ross....

The story went from awful to really awful pretty fast.

According to a probable cause affidavit released Wednesday, young Elijah’s mother – Jenna Miller – brought him to the hospital. He was “cold and limp” when they arrived, and was pronounced dead just after 2 a.m. Doctors found “multiple bruises” on the boy’s arms and face, “major” bruising to his lower back and buttocks, multiple bruises and swelling and abrasions on his shoulders, and a small cut on his penis.

Egad. Notice the part in red, you will see why in a moment. Then mama was arrested for neglect of a dependent causing death...

If you are good at biology, you might have noticed something. The presence of both a mother and a "step-mother". Here is the lovely couple....

If you are an especially keen observer, you will note that while young Elijah is dark hued, both mom and "step-mom" are Persons Of Pallor. Huh, what could be going on here? Also while Alesha Miller is clearly an angry, man-hating butch dyke, I doubt she has a penis no matter how much she wishes she did, so there must be a baby daddy around somewhere to have helped create Elijah and his (at least) two siblings. So where is daddy? There is an answer to that as well in this story:

"Estranged" is a nice way of putting it, see Dad has been...previously occupied and unable to be a parent....

Just where Elijah’s biological father was when the Franke Park elementary school third grader died was revealed in more court documents obtained by WANE 15.

Lethaniel Ross, 38, is at the South Bend Community Re-Entry Center with a release date in September, according to the Indiana Department of Correction website. He is serving a sentence for cocaine possession dating to Aug. 21.

Jenna Miller slapped a no-contact order on Ross in January 2019 through the small claims division of Allen Superior Court, claiming she was the victim of domestic violence and stalking. Boxes checked indicated Jenna Miller reported Lethaniel Ross “threatened to cause physical harm to her,” and he “placed me in fear of physical harm.”

The no contact order also lists those present at the time of a June 2018 incident: her wife, Alesha Miller and sons, Jaden Oliver, Xayvion Ross and Elijah.

What a fun little family! Lethaniel has quite the rap sheet and clearly was someone you should get knocked up by multiple times, assuming he was the baby daddy in all of these cases (at least one sibling has a completely different last name). The stories combine to create a picture of a horrific situation where Alesha Miller, apparently referred to as "dad" by Jenna Miller's kids according to multiple stories, would either beat the shit out of Elijah or, get this, order his older siblings to beat his ass on her behalf. Baby daddy is in the slammer for coke and when he isn't, is dangerous and stalker-y. One story suggested that cherubic little Elijah would sass at "dad" Alesha by bringing up her brother who apparently committed suicide and this would send Alesha into a rage. Life in that place must have been a laugh a minute.

This is all supposition but it looks like we have a self-loathing White chick, Jenna Miller, who gets knocked up with a series of kids by at least one black guy who was violent with her. At some point she kicks him down the road and starts to shack up with an angry bull dyke named Alesha and they "get married" but Alesha isn't down with the whole raising kids thing and really seems to not like men (see above where she took a slice at the little dude's penis). So she pummels the littlest one at any provocation and he seems to antagonize her on occasion.

What an absolute shitshow.

Can I get down with a little real talk for a second? Some unhappy but still true real shit?

There was almost no way that that poor kid was not going to end up either dead from violence or in prison.

Daddy is in jail for being a habitual offender so Elijah's main male role model is a criminal and absent, instead the kid is growing up with a couple of man hating dykes, at least one a violent bull dyke and the other letting her carpet muncher "wife" beat the piss out of her own damn kid. Mom looks like an imbecile and dad is a black lifelong criminal so likely on the extreme left end of the black IQ bell curve. This kid was 9 years old and had a no-hitter worth of strikes against him. There were some slim chances he would pull out of the tailspin but odds were almost a sure thing that wasn't going to be the case. Now a couple of lesbians are going to end up in prison, one possibly for life, and his two brothers are going to end up being raised most likely by grandma or even worse by dad if he can stay out of prison for a few minutes.

This story made local headlines because it was a 9 year old kid but little attention nationally because it shines a spotlight on a bunch of issues, from an angry dyke murderer to the common issues of abuse with step-parents to the frequent abuse of White women by black men.

Something else it highlights is what a disaster the whole family system is in America. This wasn't the first time that Alesha Miller and/or his brothers had beaten the shit out of Elijah. His own brothers said she would frequently beat the kid:

On Monday, police interviewed two other children. One said that Alesha Miller, who the children called “dad,” “went hard” on Elijah, and would “slam him to the ground” and “whoop him with the paddle” multiple times, the affidavit said. After the abuse, Elijah would “ball up,” the brother said.

But the system is already overwhelmed and often seems to be focused on the wrong situations. Maybe the kid was sassy and disrespectful and needed to get his ass whooped on occasion but that isn't the same thing as body slamming a kid and beating him with a paddle until he curled up in the fetal position.

Back over a decade ago now I was a pastor and had a couple with substance abuse problems in the church, she got pregnant and long story short the state got involved. I saw up close just what a mess that system is, how generally discouraged and disengaged so many social workers are and that the system will never be able to deal with broken families.

Or locally a couple we know is trying to adopt a pair of children they were fostering. Bio-mom is in jail, in and out for who knows how long. They went through something like 5 different dudes who could have been the baby daddy before they found him, and the dude apparently had no idea he was a dad, but now wants to be a parent. I am sure he is an upstanding citizen who just humps every drug addled whore who offers it up. What the hell kind of life are you leading that you get knocked up and can't narrow down who the dad is to a pool smaller than (at least) five guys? If the couple trying to adopt these kids gets them the children will be raised in a loving, stable home with a stay-at-home mom and will have every chance to become decent, useful adults. But if they end up with either piece of shit mom or piece of shit "Oh hey, I am a dad"? The odds are their own kids will be in foster care in a decade or so.

The family situation of Elijah Ross is repeated countless times all over the country. It isn't a new phenomena, this is the result of more than half a century of a concerted effort by the Bolshevik Left to destroy the family, from feminism to black Lives Matter to "gay marriage", at every turn they have been chipping away at the bedrock of Western civilization. For the better part of my lifetime, the majority of black children have been born out of wedlock and for as many decades as I can remember it was around a 75% illegitimacy rate. That has had devastating consequences on a community already dealing with a myriad of issues. As White illegitimacy rates climb, especially among the poorest and least intelligent Whites, coupled with wider spread miscegenation, many of those same ills that were mostly confined to the black community are spreading like cancer in White communities. Being poor but in a stable family is infinitely better than being poor in a broken family with mama bringing in a revolving door of loser boyfriends or girlfriends who often don't care about the kids at best and at worst actively abuse the single mom's children.

As the family goes, so goes the nation. We cannot survive as a nation populated by illegitimate kids being raised by angry lesbians. In the To Come Times, we need to remember the central role of the family when we rebuild because what we are dealing with now cannot last.

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Rwanda...

As soon as Christmas and New Years are over, the media is going to turn all it's attention to the one year anniversary of the risible January 6th "insurrection". They have been salivating in anticipation, it is the greatest gift to the media since Orange Man Bad was elected.

Leading up to the anniversary of a non-event, we are hearing more chatter about an impending second civil war, not from boogalo-bois but from the mainstream media.

Exhibit A, dimwit Charles Blow(job) writing in the New York Times:

According to Blow, it might be abortion that pushes us over the edge which is quite possible. Of course as every black "intellectual" invariable does, he somehow makes this about slavery.

I see too many uneasy parallels between what was happening nearly 200 years ago and what is happening now. I see this country on the verge of another civil war, as the Calhounian impulse is reborn....

....And this war won’t be only about the subjugation of Black people but also about the subjugation of all who challenge the white racist patriarchy.

It will seek to push back against all the “others”: Black people, immigrants, Muslims, Jews, L.G.B.T.Q. people and, yes, women, particularly liberal ones.

They really have such a child-like grasp of history that they can't understand anything other than something that ended 150 years ago.

The White racist patriarchy, in other words the system that created a nation where a buffoon like Charles Blow can make a lovely salary writing slander about the American people, is bad apparently. Blow doesn't mention that gays, immigrants (esp. Asians), Jews and women in particular are in far more danger of being harmed by blacks than by "racist White patriarchs". Just a mild oversight I am sure.

Then we have one David H. Freedman writing on my birthday no less for Newsweek. I am always startled to see that Newsweek is still a thing. Like USA Today, Newsweek was always aimed at a target audience that was barely literate at best. Freedman looks like a weasel and I suspect that his background includes exactly what you would suspect. He boasts of being a "science writer" for The Atlantic while admitting he has no scientific training whatsoever.

His essay for Newsweek won't win any awards for writing style or for subtlety: Millions of Angry, Armed Americans Stand Ready to Seize Power If Trump Loses in 2024

Freedman brings up January 6th no less than 7 times in his shitty little essay. He bases his whole essay on some fairly mild comments by a 73 year old Vietnam vet named  Mike "Wompus" Nieznany. From these comments, Freedman creates a whole imaginary world of those millions of angry, armed Americans.

The entire essay is chock full of lies and evasions, like this:

In 2020, 17 million Americans bought 40 million guns and in 2021 were on track to add another 20 million. If historical trends hold, the buyers will be overwhelmingly white, Republican and southern or rural.

"If historical trends hold". We don't have to guess or wonder, we know a lot about who bought guns in 2020 and a record percentage of them were new gun owners (many in the suburbs and cities), women and minorities. Sure Bubba and the boys bought more guns but it is common knowledge that the torrid pace of gun purchasing in 2020 cut across all demographic lines. As a little FFL out in the country, many of my customers last year were not the stereotypical gun owners Freedman is talking about. We had women, blacks, Asians, mestizos, lots of people from cities and suburbs. If their money was good and they passed the background check, I was happy to sell them a firearm. He repeats this falsehood later, even while admitting that the data shows more "non-traditional" gun buyers in 2020....

While there's data to suggest Democrats are stepping up their modest share of the gun-buying, recent history suggests that the great majority of these guns are going to Republicans. According to a 2017 Pew Research Center survey, Republicans and Republican-leaning independents were more than twice as likely to own a gun as their Democratic counterparts.

In short, he is flat out lying to create an image in the mind of his readers of hordes of gun owning conservatives storming the Capitol if the election doesn't go the way they want in 2024. He also raises the idea of using the military to enforce the "election", something I just wrote about this week: Paving The Way For An (Actual) Coup

It is unlikely that Charles Blow and David Freedman, even as men of at best middling intelligence, really think there is going to be an armed revolution. They certainly don't think that January 6th was an actual attempted "insurrection".

But the dipshits that read The New York Times and even those that inexplicably still read Newsweek, at it's pinnacle deserving nothing more than being flipped through in a waiting room? They believe it. They believe it because they live in their own little leftist bubble where they believe everything they are told. In the spirit of fairness, this is true on the conservative side as well where people take at face value what they hear from Glen Beck. But those on the left are convinced, absolutely and without reservation, that "our democracy" is in grave peril because people like me own firearms that hold more than a single .22 round.

Thus the next civil war or secession or balkanization becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. The left rank-and-file is convinced that the nation is full of dangerous hillbillies with personal arsenals rivaling NATO and therefore is willing to keep pushing policies that further radicalize those on the right in the name of safety against "domestic terrorism". Those on the right are increasingly convinced that our electoral system, along with the judicial system and every other institution, are working against them and that the government is no longer legitimate. Having the institutions of the country in lockstep to try to censor, repress and disarm them just makes it worse. All the while the media keeps pushing these narratives because, despite their handwringing, they are hoping to see things go kinetic, as that would provide the pretext they desire to take the big steps to cement control of the country.

Things is, it won't go the way they seem to think. I don't think law enforcement is going to be quite as effective or compliant as they think (more on that soon), nor the military. It wouldn't be the first time that people set something in motion expecting one thing, only to have it backfire in a most spectacular fashion. What is definitely true is that media figures, print and TV alike, have openly placed themselves firmly in the enemy camp and aren't likely to enjoy their time in the Big Igloo.

Regardless, it seems more likely than any time I can recall that things are going to blow up in a major conflagration and soon.

I suspect that when it comes, it will be something few if any of us saw coming. Going into 2020, I expected to see some chaos with the Presidential election but no one saw coronavirus coming (except the Chinese and Bill Gates because they made it in a lab) and no one could have imagined that a lifelong violent thug with heart disease dying of heart failure while loaded up on drugs and resisting arrest would lead to a summer of cities burning. What triggers the next stage of the conflict is hard to predict, but it isn't hard at all to predict that something is coming. Too many people with too much power have too much invested in something ugly happening for it to not happen now.

A Bison Appears In The Wild

The December Article is out from Bison Prepper, check it out!

Maffs Be Rayciss And Sheeit!

It is a crime against humanity that some people think that math teachers should have a passing familiarity with math. Fortunately we have the brave justice pioneers of Canada working non-stop to end this outrage!

Math test for teachers ruled racist

A Canadian court has ruled that a mandatory math proficiency test is unconstitutional and should not prohibit those who fail to pass it numerous times from teaching children, as it unfairly affects non-white candidates.

Take that White supremacists! Now to push for allowing illiterate people to teach English....that is already the situation in a lot of inner city schools and it is working out great!

This morning included a brief visit to our family doc to go over some bloodwork, routine stuff with no issues. Our doc is a huge cheerleader for the "vaccine" and always brings it up to us when we are there and always gets told "fuck no" but a little politer in response.

Well today he begrudgingly said that everyone is going to get the "omicron variant" and it had mutated so much that the "vaccine" wasn't really helping anyway. It was the first time I can remember since the "pandemic" started that he wasn't badgering me about the jab.

Even some of the most ardent supporters of The Covid Narrative seem to be realizing that the whole thing is bullshit for the most part.

Just made me chuckle.

The Power Of The Persecution Myth For Minority Populations

If there is one thing you need to be wrapping your mind around, right now, it is that the people who founded and built America are on the edge of becoming a minority in our own country. A corollary to this reality is another fact: there isn't a damn thing you can do to stop or even delay it. Likely by the end of the 2020s officially, and much sooner unofficially, White people will drop below 50% of the people living within the borders of the United States. You can huff and puff and theory-craft ideas for what should be happening but the path is set toward becoming a minority in America.

We are already starting to see the effect this is having on governance, in both "official" and unofficial capacity. Let's look at the largest cities in America by order of population:

1. The newly elected mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, is a black man, winning 67% of the vote.

2. The mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Michael Garcetti, has Mexican paternal grandparents and Jewish maternal grandparents.

3. Chicago is run by Mayor Beetlejuice, Lori Lightfoot, a black lesbian.

4. The mayor of Houston is Sylvester Turner, a black man.

5. Phoenix, Arizona's mayor is Kate Gallego, a Jewish woman.

6. Finally at number 6, Philadelphia, we get our first White man, Mayor Jim Kenney which surprised me because Whites are only around 1/3 of the population of Philly.

7. San Antonio, TX is next with mayor Ron Nirenberg and he is quite the mixed bag, Jew on his father's side and "mixed Filipino, Malay, Indian, and British heritage from his mother's side". He is like a little melting pot.

8. Next comes San Diego with mayor Todd Gloria, another mixed race guy that is half Eskimo, a quarter Fillipino and some Dutch and Puerto Rican mixed in. No idea how a half Eskimo guy became mayor of San Diego.

9. Dallas, TX is 9th and their mayor is Eric Johnson, a black man.

10. Tenth is San Jose, CA led by mayor Sam Liccardo. Sam is a "Californio" which is a term I hadn't heard before, designating someone who is "a Hispanic Californian, especially those descended from Spanish and Mexican settlers", with a little Sicilian and Irish tossed in.

You get the picture. Of the ten largest cities in America, only one has a White guy as the mayor. Four are run by blacks. Three are at least partially Jewish. The others are mixes of various sorts.

When you start digging deeper, which I am not going to bore you with, you start to see a ton of non-Whites in critical positions like chief of police and district attorney. Congress is also becoming browners and blacker, and older Whites, especially in the Democrat party, are being squeezed out. It won't be immediate as so many states and Congressional districts are still majority White but it is happening all over.

After I started writing this, The Zman posted something similar about minority rule,  American Alawites, and he made an another interesting observation:

With the Cold War over and the borders wide open, the great flood of people into the empire proper is about to change the complexion of the ruling class. You see this with the South Asian takeover of Silicon Valley. The latest example is Twitter, the social media publisher, getting a new boss. Parag Agarwal will succeed Jack Dorsey as the CEO of the company. Vijaya Gadde is the policy, safety lead director and a chief legal officer and general counsel of Twitter.

If we take a quick inventory of the big tech firms, we see that Google is now ruled by Sundar Pichai.  Microsoft is now ruled by a person named Satya Nadella. IBM, once synonymous with American technological innovation, is now ruled by a person called Arvind Krishna. Adobe Systems is ruled by Shantanu Narayen. VMWare, the biggest virtualization firm is ruled by Raghu Raghuram. Silicon Valley is looking like the chamber of commerce of Bangalore.

The new CEO of Twitter is a ridiculous looking desi....

...but this weirdo is now one of the most powerful men in America because he controls one of the largest social media platforms. He was born and raised in India and seems to have little regard for minor stuff like the founding culture of the nation he has chosen to live in. Odd since he apparently has no interest in moving back to his home country. Twitter has already announced that it will no longer let you share pictures of "private individuals" without permission, which is a handy way of censoring pictures and videos of Africans looting and rioting.

How long can the last vestiges of Western civilization hold together when non-Western people are calling the shots?

I will skip ahead to the end of the book: not for very long.

Individual rights and individual liberty, the rule of law, liberal democracy, free expression and the right to keep and bear arms, these are alien concepts to the people of most of the world or at best are concepts forced on them in to one extent or another when they were under colonial rule. The new "Americans" care nothing for the principles of White people or the rights of the very people who built this country. They are here to loot what our people have built, nothing more.

As a soon-to-be-minority, there is much to be learned from how some minority populations in America have not just survived but thrived in America. I am not talking here about blacks or mestizos, especially not blacks, who have never thrived in America and generally are an enormous anchor holding the country back. Instead I am focused on three groups who were initially not terribly popular in America but now have not only overcome that early adversity, real and often imagined, but now are some of the most affluent and/or influential groups in America:

The Amish, The Jews and The Mormons.

What we can learn about these groups may prove very useful in the near future

The Amish

I start here because this is the group I have the most current familiarity with thanks to our circle of friends and our small businesses. For those who don't know, most of our friends are Amish. We are very close with probably 100 Amish, and pretty close with a few hundred more.

An Anabaptist Christian group originally from Europe, the Amish like virtually all of their fellow Anabaptists fled to the United States in the 18th and 19th century to escape persecution from Catholics and Protestants alike in the seemingly endless wars over which flavor of Christianity was the right one. There are essentially no Anabaptists left in Europe since the end of the 19th century. Numbering somewhere north of 350,000, the Amish are one of the only White subgroups in America that are increasing in numbers thanks to their very high birthrates, modern medical practices and an extraordinary retention rate among children and young adults. We know lots of families with a dozen or more kids, one with 17 at last check.

As I mentioned, the memory of their persecution in Europe is kept alive in the Amish community. Many families have a copy of a book titled Martyrs' Mirror from the 17th century that describes in some detail the death of over 800 named Anabaptist martyrs. It is part of the fabric of their tightly knit community.

It didn't stop when they arrived in America. An Amish man I knew passed away a few weeks ago at the age of 97. For perspective, his grandfather was born in the 1850s, a decade before the Civil War. Being as old as he was, like many older people, he remembered things that happened a long time ago better than what happened last week. He recalled vividly events during the World Wars when Anabaptists like the Amish were threatened and harassed for refusing to serve in the military. In an event well known among Anabaptists, in World War II four Hutterite men (another Anabaptist group) were imprisoned for refusing to serve in the military: Jacob Wipf and Joseph, Michael, and David Hofer. The men were tortured and eventually two of them, Joseph and Michael Hofer, died from their mistreatment in Leavenworth. Here locally there were even what was just short of tar and feather mobs who threatened the Amish but were discouraged by some of the neighbors who, not being Amish, had shotguns.

That sort of stuff sticks with the people, especially since it is taught to them from an early age, and the message is clear: outsiders, in other words the "English", cannot be trusted. Not completely. We are very close to some Amish but there is always a something they are holding back because we are not one of them. In return they will go to bat for other Amish even if they don't really like them. When a barn burns down, the men in the community will stop working on their own jobs and show up to help put it back up, often with a better barn than before. I suspect some of the fires are what my pops used to refer to as Jewish Urban Renewal, a little intentional "accidental" fire when someone wants a new barn but doesn't have the cash for it. A large group of Amish men went down to Kentucky the week of Christmas with tools and heavy equipment to help the Amish down there in the aftermath of the tornados.

The Amish around here are as a general rule quite affluent. When they are young, the young men and women start working sometimes as soon as the leave 8th grade but their paychecks are generally turned right over to their parents. I know some Amish youth who have their paychecks made payable to their father. They also live at home until marriage and often young couples will live for a year or two (or more) in the home of the wife's family, living basically for free. Meanwhile the young men are often making a ton of money in construction or other trades with basically little to no expenses, and families often help their kids out when it comes time to buy a place. It is pretty common to see a young Amish wife in her mid 20s living in a brand new half million dollar house at a time when most English women are still single and living in a crappy little apartment. As their numbers rapidly increase they are buying up all of the available land around here and the wealthier Amish (and there are some top 1% earners in the community) are buying land further and further north of the community so their children and grandchildren will have a place to live.

They take care of their own because their history taught them that no one else will take care of them.

They always remember the rule: there is Us and there is Them and you always take care of Us first.

The Mormons

In the 19th century and for much of the 20th century, Mormons were a weird and potentially dangerous cult out West. They practiced a slew of bizarre religious practices that were derived from orthodox Christianity, claimed to be led by a living "prophet" who could override the Bible at will and even the prior proclamations of prior Mormon "prophets" and most notably resurrected the practice of polygamy for the leaders of their religion. They were driven from Ohio to Missouri to Utah, with their founder Joseph Smith killed in a gun battle along the way. They finally landed in the godforsaken wilderness of Utah where they practiced polygamy and occasionally massacred non-Mormon settlers

Eventually the U.S. caught up to Utah and started to clamp down on polygamy, when suddenly God changed His mind about polygamy and told them to knock it off and oh by the way black skin isn't the curse of Cain anymore, just forget about that. By the 1990s or so Mormonism had gone mainstream in America's religious landscape. The Republican party has come to rely on the reliable Utah votes of Mormons and in 2012 the Republican nominee for President was uber-Mormon Mitt Romney.

Along the way the Mormon church has quietly been changing their marketing, deemphasizing how weird and different their beliefs are and instead claiming to be just as Christian as any other denomination, while also playing up their deserved reputation for being clean-cut and nice, people you wouldn't mind having as neighbors even if they wear weird magical underpants. They have gone from being intentional and proud religious outcasts to religious chameleons who blend in with the surrounding culture.

The embellished stories of the flight to Utah, from the death of Joseph Smith downplaying that he was shooting at his attackers to a couple of "miracles" involving manna-from-heaven quail and a flock of gulls that later saved their crops from being devoured by insects, all form a tapestry of God's chosen people being persecuted. This has led to the creation of a bogeyman for Mormons, the nefarious "Anti-Mormon" who is trying to lead Mormons astray by questioning the theology and history of Mormonism. Wonder where the magnificent civilization that supposedly existed in Central or South America disappeared to when the Jewish diaspora was killed off? Anti-Mormon! Question the timing of Joseph Smith's "revelation" instituting the practice of polygamy right about the time his wife found out he was cheating on her? Anti-Mormon! It is a common practice we will look at for the next group to dismiss all criticisms as being "Anti" your group, which then flips the conversation away from the substance of the question and instead tries to focus on a moral failing of the questioner.

Just as Amish call all non-Amish "English", Mormons refer to non-Mormons as "Gentiles". It creates a sense of bonding for those in the group and an image of otherness for those outside the group. The In-Group and Out-Group distinction is important. This is a little weird because of the missionary zeal of Mormons to convert outsiders but as someone who used to be a Mormon convert I know full well that within Mormonism there is a definite unspoken hierarchy between converts and people with a family history in Mormonism. Those who can date their connection to the religion back to the early pioneer days are definitely seen differently from someone who grew up Catholic and joined Mormonism as an adult.

Like the Amish, the Mormons take care of their own, making sure that the poor among them are cared for. In return you have the equivalent of a very friendly secret police as every Mormon family is assigned a different Mormon couple to watch over. Everyone is watching everyone else, looking for any sign of straying. It is not a coincidence that in the Mormon religion, the only really bad hell in their eschatology is reserved for "apostates" who leave mormonism.

The Jews

Like the Amish, the Jews migrated to America to avoid persecution but while the Amish have only been around and persecuted since the 16th century, the Jews have been getting kicked around for more than 2000 years. There is a whole wikipedia page dedicated to the Jews getting booted from one country after another going all the way back to 733 BC: Expulsions and exoduses of Jews A figure often tossed around is 109 countries that have at one time or another expelled the Jewish people. At some point you have to wonder if they are just poor guests. The joke goes, if you go to a bar and get kicked out, maybe the bartender is an asshole. If you go to 109 bars and get kicked out of them all, maybe you are the asshole.

By any measure the Jews in America have been wildly successful. The references are well known, from media companies to lists of billionaires to various other professions from medical/dental to law to finance that are overwhelmingly disproportionately Jewish. That isn't to suggest every Jew is rich or good with money but just that as is usually the case there are reasons for the stereotypes. While Jews are just 2.2% of the U.S. population, they play an outsized role in American society for such a small group. Asians as a whole are almost three times the percentage of the population compared to the Jews but have historically not had nearly as much influence over American culture and government.

Their success is often attributed to their alleged higher average IQ. While there is some truth to that, especially in what is known as verbal IQ, there is more to it than simple raw IQ. Again, Asians in America as a group have a similarly higher than average IQ but while many are affluent, they have not to date achieved anything approaching the social status of Jews. Some of this is also the result of Jews (unlike Asians) being racial chameleons, able to largely pass for White when it suits but then also being able to claim ethnic minority status when it is convenient.

The greater factor the the success of Jews in the West is their in-group preference.

Despite being in America in large numbers for more than a century, Jews still see non-Jews as The Other. They might not like one another but they recognize each other as part of the same group.

While most American Jews have a pretty tenuous connection to Judaism as a religious faith, they do have a deep cultural connection with Judaism as it pertains to their history of persecution. During the Passover seder meal it is tradition to say "לשנה הבאה בירושלים" which translates to "next year in Jerusalem", a spoken desire of the Jews to celebrate Passover in Jerusalem, something they were unable to do for nearly 2000 years after the destruction of the temple in 70 AD and the expulsion of the Jews from Israel. I don't think very many Jews are interested in the re-creation of a theocratic state, temple worship and the Mosaic laws but they do see their shared religious and ethnic heritage as a shield against the persecution, real and imagined, that they have experienced for centuries. This is often exhibited through helping each other out to the detriment of non-Jews. Jews get prestigious jobs for other Jews.

A great example of this is the pedo-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was kind of a loser early on, dropping out of a couple of colleges before landing a gig teaching physics and calculus at a private high school in Manhattan. One of his students was the son of fellow Jew Alan Greenberg who happened to be the chairman of Bear Stearns. Suddenly a college dropout who was teaching high school in 1975 was working as an options trader at Bear Stearns in 1976. Four years in 1980 later he was a partner at Bear Stearns at the age of 27. Two years after that he was managing a billion dollars at his private firm before this 30th birthday. The rest is history, including Epstein not killing himself. How did a college dropout high school math teacher become a partner at Bear Stearns and then a private money manager before he turned 30? Because of connections within the Jewish community.

There is also the powerful tool developed by Jews to shield any criticism of any Jew by declaring it to be inherently antisemitic. This is why so many "conservatives" step gingerly around people like George Soros, as a Jew he is off limits for criticism unless you are willing to withstand the charges of being antisemitic. Many groups do this, like the Mormons as mentioned but also some Catholics will throw out charges of being "anti-Catholic" but none are as good at it or as consistent as the Jews in America. If normiecons are afraid of being called "racist", they are far more terrified of being called "antisemitic" thanks to the influence of bogus teachings on Israel in Christian churches. Hell, if you are not willing to send unlimited billions to Israel, not only are you antisemitic but also being a bad Christian. Pretty smooth way to keep the funds flowing and the criticism buried.

Critical to their in-group preference is seeing outsiders as something to be, if not always feared, then at least always viewed with suspicion.

Like the Amish with "English" and the Mormons with "Gentiles", Jews also have their slang for non-Jews: "Goyim". The difference is that goyim is laced with anger, resentment and hatred along with signifying an "Otherness". Goyim is a word said with a sneer and/or a snarl, loaded with generations of anger at the treatment of Jews by the goyim, whether real, exaggerated or imaginary.

Jews not only take care of each other, they use their history coupled with the antisemitic bogeyman, to create a world where everyone else is hostile toward them.

What these three groups share in common is a mythos of persecution that is two-fold:

1. A very powerful in-group preference

2. A distrust or even hatred of The Other

They have developed these two traits over the years as a self-defense mechanism and a justification for treating non-members of their group differently than they do their own people.

Through this persecution mythology, all three of these groups have in their own ways carved out a place in the broader American society that is based on a White, European, mainstream (more or less) orthodox cultural Christianity and been very successful. The formula is mostly the same:

Always side with your own people and never really trust The Other.

When you hear the word "myth" it is often assumed that a myth is inherently not true in any sense but that isn't the case.

A myth is often something that is based in the truth but has been enhanced or embellished along the way for the purposes of explaining or reinforcing something important to a group. Just as critical to understand, the myth for those in the group is something taken very seriously if not literally.

Jews embody this better than the other two groups. While Mormons have their faith-affirming stories and lots of apocryphal anecdotal tales, the Jews have thousands of years of myths to lean on. From the Exodus to the Holocaust, their mythology reinforces their sense of otherness and persecution. Please note carefully, I am not saying the Holocaust didn't happen, but simply pointing out that to so much as question an accepted detail of the events surrounding the Jews in World War II is to invite frothing-at-the-mouth fury and accusations of hating Jews and being anti-Semitic. Such is the power of the mythos of Jewish persecution. Not only do they not question it internally but they respond viciously if someone outside of their group questions it. For the Jews their entire existence as God's Chosen People™ is replete with persecution. One group after another conquered them and then treated them poorly, from slavery in Egypt to the Roman destruction of the Temple and the resulting diaspora, to the Inquisition to Hitler. Even today in America 2021 when Jews are untouchable (except by blacks) there are entire organizations dedicated to sniffing out any whiff of "anti-Semitism" and using it to raise funds to pay for them to keep looking for Neo-Nazis under the couch cushions.

As Whites in America, our traditional mythos is almost entirely positive. We were taught about the pilgrims and the colonies, our valiant struggle to cast off the yoke of English rule, the war we fought internally to free the slaves and preserve the Union, our freedoms and liberties, Westward expansion and the U.S. coming to rescue Europe from tyranny before staring down and defeating the Soviets. Notions like "the melting pot" and "the land of opportunity", which never were intended to be a blanket invitation for the detritus of the world to permanently resettle in our country, formed the basis of America as a nation of ideas, instead of a people. In general we aren't a people who were keen on whining or feeling sorry for ourselves. Don't like where you are? Get off your ass, pull yourself up by your bootstraps and make something of yourself.

That was fine when we were 85% of the population and the largest minority group was mostly under control. Now? It is time for us to start to rewrite the story of our people to include what I call The Great Betrayal and The Great Lie, the subject of future posts, but suffice it to say that the story of the American people, defined as it only can be as the descendants of European colonists, settlers and immigrants who came to America over the course of some 300 years, is approaching a new epoch marked by betrayal and treason where the people who built this country are being forcible replaced by alien invaders who contributed next to nothing to this nation. This change in our situation demands we start to think differently about ourselves as a people and that in turn we change our stories to reflect this new reality.

The mythology of a people are the stories they tell one another and their children to frame their place in the world. The story of White people has mostly been one of naivety and misplaced altruism. By framing our story without a strong sense of group identity, we have been at a disadvantage compared to other groups that are now threatening to swamp our people. We need to change our own mythos to reflect  the new reality. The story of our people must include The Great Betrayal and The Great Lie that has us at the precipice of becoming a minority in our own country. Our children must learn that what they see happening is something done to us, without our consent and often without our knowledge.

Stories are powerful and we have failed to change our stories to respond to the changing situation. That needs to be fixed right now. Tell your children the stories of bravery and valor of our past but also about the world that we live in now and how we got here.

There is no place for "We" in a majority-minority America with no single supermajority race. There is "Us" and there is "Them". Those who forget this or refuse to accept it will suffer the consequences. That doesn't mean you have to be shitty to "Them" or visit violence upon them, simply that you always remember to put "Us" first, all day, every day. That is how the Amish, the Mormons and the Jews have survived and thrived as an alien minority in a country that in a lot of ways didn't really want them around for a long time. Those of us from heritage White American stock need to learn these lessons and embrace them if we are to survive.

Five. Oh.

I was born on this date in 1971, in the middle of what would become known as "Generation X". If my math is correct, and if not Jim will correct me, that makes me 50 years old today. Five decades. Half a century.

That is a pretty long time.

It also means that I have seen a thing or two along the way.

The country I was born into is very different than the one we live in today. The America of 1971 was almost entirely White with blacks in a few enclaves, meaning we were closer to a monoculture than at any time since. You didn't need to press 1 for English, especially since no one had touch tone phones. The class divisions were less profound, our family headed by a doctor was neighbors with both working class families as well as other professionals.

The changes in the last 50 years are profound and shattered what to that point was a nation at our apex. We won the race to the moon, had emerged just 26 years before my birth from the Second World War as the untouched victor. The pace of technological advancement was just accelerating and it appeared we were about to enter a golden age of prosperity. I wrote about this in 2020, pre-Covid, in this post: The Dumbing Down Of America

As a child in the 1970s and 80s, 2020 seemed like a long way into the distant future and while we couldn't predict what that would bring, it was assumed it would bring a progressively better society and that space exploration and great technological achievement would make life immeasurably better. Colonies on the moon and even Mars were just assumed to be the natural near-future next steps.

Now look around. Do you see a plausible scenario where the U.S. could return to the moon in any capacity, much less a manned mission to Mars or anywhere even further away? N-word please. The American nation is on the tipping point where we will no longer have enough people to maintain the existing technological infrastructure, much less create new and innovative technological wonders. You see this in places like South Africa where racially based hiring is leading to an inability to maintain the city water supply. The more likely scenario is that things start slowly shutting down as the AI isn't developed fast enough to replace the tech workers. The cold stone truth is that we are further away from manned missions to Mars today than we were on the eve of the first moon landing.

Those words seem more apt with each passing day. Few of the changes in the last half century have benefitted most people and even the stuff people point to in order to claim things are better have often made things far worse.

The most significant theme of my 50 years on this earth is The Great Lie. You know the one.

Keep your nose clean and your head down, go to school, go to college, get a decent job, pay your taxes, get a mortgage, save for college for the kids and for retirement. Do this and you will be happy and prosperous.

We almost all believed it, bought into it and trusted it.

Then slowly more and more of us started to realize that it was all a lie and moreover that the people pushing The Great Lie knew it was a lie the whole time.

More than the Cold War or the Age Of Information or the War On Terror, The Great Lie has been the facet that has shaped who I am more than anything else. We focused on all of the shiny new technology or the latest manufactured crisis, and in doing so were blind to the rot that was happening beneath the surface like a home with new siding and windows while the foundation crumbles below the ground.

If you want to know why I seem so angry, it can all be traced back to The Great Lie. It was the promise of a brighter future based on a social compact of being good boys and girls in return for safety and security, but as my generation gets older and what used to be called "retirement age" is on the distant horizon beckoning with mockery, it is apparent that our future will be neither safe nor secure.

It didn't have to be this way. We were headed for the bright future that was promised us but it was intentionally hijacked before we got there. Those responsible have a reckoning coming.

Looking back over my lifetime, the one constant is my wife. We started dating when I was just shy of 16 and we will be married 30 years next year so for more than 2/3 of my lifetime she was there. Ups and downs, moving around the country, one kid then another and then a string of them totaling four boys and four girls, she was there. When life kicked me in the nuts, layoffs and business closures and health issues, she was right beside me. I don't know how /ourguys/ without a spouse or serious significant other manage. I suspect many don't because I wouldn't be able to manage.

This is a weird birthday for me. I know it is supposed to be this big deal turning 50 but on the other hand I am healthier than I have been in a very long time. When I was 40 I was already on the slide downward physically and going the wrong direction but now I feel much better and am optimistic about the near future from a health standpoint. Most days I feel much better than I did when my 40th birthday rolled around. On the other hand, I am in a very different place now than I was then (see: Fore? Oh! for my 40th birthday post). It will be up to the reader to decide if that different place is an improvement or not.

With my age now becoming for the first time a significant factor, there is a sense of urgency in my mind. Not so much accelerating the collapse so it happens when I am healthy enough to collect some Bolshevik scalps and survive the collapse, although that is certainly a factor, but more that time is becoming a more precious commodity. My kids are older with only 3 of the 8 still under 18 so the child-rearing phase is coming to a close and a new era is about to start. It is an era when you start to take note of people your age beginning to have serious health issues and even dying, and things like life expectancy charts get a little more real.

Truth be told, I am looking forward to the upcoming years more than I was when I turned 40. Being in your 40s meant, at least for me, clinging to what you think are the last vestiges of youth that really were gone long ago. Today I am pretty content and confident with where I am and just as important, I am steeling myself for what is to come.

Whatever that might be, bring it on.

Speaking Of Stomping On The Military

Right on cue this comes out...

The "rise in extremism" is about as robust as a Let's Go Brandon erection.

Senior defense officials tell The Associated Press that fewer than 100 military members are known to have been involved in substantiated cases of extremist activity in the past year, but they warn that the number may grow given recent spikes in domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans....

....Officials said that while the substantiated cases may be small, compared to the size of the military, which includes more than 2 million active duty and reserve troops. The number appears to be an increase over previous years where the totals were in the low two-digits. But they also noted that data has not been consistent so it is difficult to identify trends.

"Fewer than 100" is tiny and pretty vague. One is fewer than 100 and 100 out of a total of over 2 million active and reserve troops? That is like 5/1000th of a percent of the forces (I probably did that wrong but it is so small as to be meaningless). They also clearly are just making this up and have no evidence of any actual problems.

In other words this is another White supremacist phantom menace. There are certainly at least as many black supremacist leaning servicemembers as White supremacists and exponentially more criminals and other actual malcontents in uniform. Still we get a whole new policy.....

So clicking like on a link I post on social media is, in the eyes of the military, the same as advocating for terrorism. That is reasonable, especially considering this...

The new rules do not provide a list of extremist organizations. Instead, it is up to commanders to determine if a service member is actively conducting extremist activities based on the definitions, rather than on a list of groups that may be constantly changing, officials said.

Basically it is at the discretion of individual commanders to declare something "extremist" or not. The whole thing is full of double-speak....

...And they make the distinction, for example, that troops may possess extremist materials, but they can’t attempt to distribute them, and while they can observe an extremist rally, they can’t participate, fund or support one.

The rules, said the officials, focus on behavior not ideology. So service members have whatever political, religious or other beliefs that they want, but their actions and behavior are governed.

Bullshit, it just said that liking or reposting "extremist views on social media" can be a bannable offense.

This is a handy way for the military to keep purging the ranks of people who might object to a left-wing coup in 2024. It is also creating more and more disgruntled and angry vets who are driven out of the military. That can only be good for /ourside/.....

The Great Uniter

What an uplifting and unifying statement from Jeffrey Zients, "Counselor to the President and Coordinator of the COVID-19 response in the Biden administration", from the official White House webpage....

If you get sick and die it is your fault if you are unvaccinated but if you get sick and die and are "vaccinated", it is still the fault of the unvaccinated. Handy how that works.

Whatever you do, don't look at the early life section of the Wikipedia entry for Jeffrey Zients.

Meanwhile Alex Berenson has an interesting new post up: Stunning data about vaccine failure from Ontario, Canada

Here is the chart he shared....

People who are "full vaccinated" are showing a huge spike in new cases. Almost like the "vaccine" isn't really working. That is of course not stopping despots from trying to leverage this to further clamp down on basic freedoms.

Weird but I would be even less inclined than before to get the "vaccine" after that bullshit, if you could be less than 0% inclined.

Paving The Way For An (Actual) Coup

While most normiecons are getting revved up to VOTE MOAR HARDERER in the 2022 midterms, dreaming of a "red wave", the political Left is already thinking about 2024. It makes sense, with an incredibly unpopular "President" who is already deep in dementia and a crazy, even less popular VP, there isn't really a clear standard-bearer for Democrats in 2024. Having learned their lesson from 2016, they are leaving nothing to chance
Enter the January 6th, 2021 "insurrection". For an event that boiled down to a couple of hours of people wandering around the Capitol building, it has taken on a life of it's own and now is as much a part of American lore as Pearl Harbor and 9/11 thanks to a relentless media push.

Into this narrative comes a new "op-ed" in the official party organ of the Coruscant Uniparty, The Washington Post (Democracy Dies In Darkness!) by three retired generals warning of shenanigans and high treason in 2024 and calling for a deeper purge of the military (HT: American Partisan)Opinion: 3 retired generals: The military must prepare now for a 2024 insurrection

At the outset it must be reiterated: nothing makes it to the pages of the Mordor-On-The-Potomac Post unless it is approved by and advances the agenda of the ruling elites.

The three retired generals are:

Paul D. Eaton is a retired U.S. Army major general and a senior adviser to VoteVets. Antonio M. Taguba is a retired Army major general, with 34 years of active duty service. Steven M. Anderson is a retired brigadier general who served in the U.S. Army for 31 years.

I did a little sniffing around on these three fellas and was not at all surprised at what I found.

Paul Eaton has his own Wikipedia page where we are told he once worked for a "progressive" think tank and now works for a group call "Vote Vets" which is also a "progressive", iow leftist, organization that pushes pretty standard leftist talking points and backing some far left veteran political figures. Eaton was also in charge of the outfit "training" the Iraqi military and we know what a crack outfit they turned out to be. From what I can see he mostly looks to have served in admin functions but someone with military experience can tell me if I am wrong.

Antonio Taguba is a Filipino who rose to the rank of general and is most famous for being critical of Abu Ghraib. He also looks like a career minded pencil pusher, spending lots of time in staff positions.

He alleges he was pushed out of the service because of his criticism of the treatment of prisoners. He also accused the Bush administration of war crimes and sounds like an asshole carrying a chip on his shoulder.

The third guy, Steven Anderson, is harder to pin down. He has a LinkedIn page and I found a video of him supporting the Obama decision to shut down the Keystone pipeline but little else. He currently works for some Indian tribe, which is kinda weird.

Anyway,  the op-ed is full of the little girl screeching you would expect from an approved message about January 6th...

As we approach the first anniversary of the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, we — all of us former senior military officials — are increasingly concerned about the aftermath of the 2024 presidential election and the potential for lethal chaos inside our military, which would put all Americans at severe risk.

In short: We are chilled to our bones at the thought of a coup succeeding next time.

"Deadly insurrection", neglecting to mention the only person directly killed as a result of the events was a woman gunned down by a Capitol cop. These three guys are all educated men and certainly can't possibly really believe that January 6th was an "attempted coup", given that no one was armed at all and no one seemed to have any sort of plan. Why do they repeat what they know to be a lie? Because the Left always lies and doesn't have a qualm about it if it advances the agenda.

They seem very upset that some of the people meandering around the Capitol were vets and active-duty and that 124 retired military leaders voiced support for Trump. See, it is OK for retired military leaders to wave the flag to push a leftist agenda but not to support the President. The whole thing is ridiculous like this paragraph:

All service members take an oath to protect the U.S. Constitution. But in a contested election, with loyalties split, some might follow orders from the rightful commander in chief, while others might follow the Trumpian loser. Arms might not be secured depending on who was overseeing them. Under such a scenario, it is not outlandish to say a military breakdown could lead to civil war.

Notice that in their scenario, the only possible outcome is a "rightful", iow Democrat, CinC and an illegitimate "Trumpian loser".

It is December 2021 and these guys are already talking about a "military coup" following an election three years from now.

Their proposed solution to prepare the military is the really dangerous part.

Step one is to ramp up the propaganda within the ranks:

But the military cannot wait for elected officials to act. The Pentagon should immediately order a civics review for all members — uniformed and civilian — on the Constitution and electoral integrity. There must also be a review of the laws of war and how to identify and deal with illegal orders. And it must reinforce “unity of command” to make perfectly clear to every member of the Defense Department whom they answer to. No service member should say they didn’t understand whom to take orders from during a worst-case scenario.

I wonder what sort of political leanings the people giving the "civics review" might have? Your average military personnel, through no fault of their own as products of the public school system, probably have at best a rudimentary understanding of *actual* civics and would therefore be easy to propagandize with leftist claptrap.

The next two suggestions are far more ominous.

In addition, all military branches must undertake more intensive intelligence work at all installations. The goal should be to identify, isolate and remove potential mutineers; guard against efforts by propagandists who use misinformation to subvert the chain of command; and understand how that and other misinformation spreads across the ranks after it is introduced by propagandists.

Identify. Isolate. Remove. Those are words used for a political purge. What this boils down to is a secret police within the military to clamp down on political speech, association and thought. Far left ideologues will be ignored while any whiff of right-leaning politics will be crushed. I would assume this would include incentives to snitch on your fellow service members who maybe read the wrong sort of social media or associate politically with the wrong sort of people. I can't imagine something more likely to further erode unit cohesion than constantly having to look over your shoulder, worried that some trannie in your unit is informing on you up the chain of command.

Finally this:

Finally, the Defense Department should war-game the next potential post-election insurrection or coup attempt to identify weak spots. It must then conduct a top-down debrief of its findings and begin putting in place safeguards to prevent breakdowns not just in the military, but also in any agency that works hand in hand with the military.

The DoD "war-gaming" the aftermath of the next election? How could that go wrong?

During the events of January 6th, the military was specifically and correctly ordered to stay out of it by Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller. The three generals that put their name on this steaming pile of dog shit criticized him by name for this, apparently preferring to see the military get involved in what at worst was a civilian law enforcement matter. This is the mindset that saw D.C. become an armed camp with the military occupying the Capitol area and fencing erected around "The People's House" to keep The People out.

These are only three former generals but the messaging is dangerous. The military must stay out of the civilian political process to prevent it being used as a means of controlling the country. The safeguards are in place for a reason and there is a reason why we have a civilian law enforcement apparatus distinct from the military. This scene from BSG contains a powerful message. When the military, tasked with fighting the enemies of the state, assumes the role of police, tasked with serving and protecting the people, all too often the people become the enemy of the state and that is dangerous as hell.

Just to be clear, on January 6th, 2021 not only was there no hint of an "insurrection" or "attempted coup", there was also no interference in what was a civilian matter by the military. This is as it should be.

What retired generals Paul D. Eaton, Antonio M. Taguba and Steven M. Anderson are talking about is weaponizing the military to enforce the political will of the Left by purging the ranks of anyone who is insufficiently leftist or at least anyone with openly right-wing opinions and creating the framework for using the military to enforce the political will of one party at the expense of any other political party. They are aiming for Soviet Union style "democracy" where everyone votes but only has one party they are permitted to vote for. Again, these men are upset that the military wasn't called out to act against the citizenry of the United States because some people were trespassing on public property.

The slippery slope argument is often considered a rhetorical fallacy but in reality it is invoked so often because it is so often true. Once we head down the path of using the military where civilian law enforcement suffices, we are on a path to despotism and civil war.

The official party organ of the elitist ruling class trots out three retired generals to advocate for weaponizing the military for civilian political purposes while waving the banner of "Democracy!". Makes you wonder if we really "won" the Cold War at all.
