While so far at least I have been overly pessimistic about this summer, with the African population and antifa alike being held in check, the ominous news keeps piling up regarding what is in store when temperatures cool.
While actual Americans are being squeezed more and more each day in an attempt to force compliance with getting the jab, the southern border is being overrun with illegal aliens and many of those are confirmed positive with the Chinese coronavirus. Then thanks to “Christian” groups like Catholic Charities, many of these disease vectors are being shipped around the interior of the country where they will likely spread the ‘vid among their fellow mestizos living in America. Make no mistake, the goal of the coronavirus is not to contain the disease but to continue to see it spread in order to provide justification for new lockdowns, mandates and government spending.
According to The Daily SA from Forward Observer yesterday, natural gas prices continue to rise and are expected to do so for the foreseeable future….
The price of natural gas is expected to increase throughout 2021 and the first half of 2022. The increases are due to expanded exports of liquid natural gas and increased consumer use. The Energy Information Agency said spot prices to average $3.07/MMBtu this year in its June Short-Term Energy Outlook (STEO), an increase of $1.04 from the lows of 2020. As prices rise, utilities are expected to cut usage in favor of other energy blends which may stabilize costs in the second half of 2022.
Expect to see some sort of “infrastructure” bill which will provide a massive new entitlement to pay energy costs for “low income” people, which in turn will prompt those “low income” households to use even more electricity, gas and water because they don’t have to pay for it. More people become more dependent on daddy gubmint for their basics and reliably vote “Left” to keep the benefits flowing. Also from The Daily SA, on Wednesday….
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s crop report indicates little change to grazing conditions. Across the U.S. pasture and ranges continue to struggle with 42% rated as “very poor or poor”. Grazing rated as good or excellent fell by a percentage as droughts persist across many states. The ultimate impact on carcass weight and time to slaughter will be determined this fall.
Here in Indiana the weather has been picture perfect for corn, hot and humid with regular significant rain so our field corn is ridiculous. Further West, things are pretty bleak thanks to a lack of rain.
More on meat prices and availability from our local news:
Renewed coronavirus restrictions at meat processing plants have led to concerns a meat shortage may be on the horizon.
Pork, chicken and, more likely, beef may be hard to find on grocery store shelves as the labor pool becomes a concern.
“There’s two processors that have recently asked all their employees to become vaccinated,” said John Federspiel, owner of Feder’s Meats. “That kind of scared off a lot of their employees.”
One of those processors is Tyson Foods, which said they are the first and largest food employer to require vaccines for their workforce. The company has said around half of its 120,000 person workforce is already vaccinated.
It is hard enough to find workers when they can make more staying home but employer vaccine mandates are going to drive a lot of workers away. Food processors will be hard hit as many of their workers are low wage employees and that often translates to minorities who are already leery of the jab. When JBS was shut down in June due to a hack, it caused a cascade downstream for producers. It wasn’t terrible but if there is a prolonged shut down or if production is slashed due to staffing levels, it could screw up the supply chain in a major way.
“Dr.” Fauci is promising more vaccine mandates which will help…
As soon as the Food and Drug Administration issues a full approval for a COVID-19 vaccine, there will be “a flood” of vaccine mandates at businesses and schools across the nation, Dr. Anthony Fauci told USA TODAY’s editorial board on Friday.
Mandates aren’t going to happen at the federal level, but vaccine approval will embolden many groups, he predicted.
“Organizations, enterprises, universities, colleges that have been reluctant to mandate at the local level will feel much more confident,” he said.
“They can say, ‘If you want to come to this college or this university, you’ve got to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this plant, you have to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this enterprise, you’ve got to get vaccinated. If you want to work in this hospital, you’ve got to get vaccinated.'”
It is notable that there isn’t a fully FDA approved “vaccine” yet, so congrats on being a guinea pig. The simple fact of the matter is that by the end of the year you will be restricted on where you can go, shop, work, etc. based on your “vaccination” status and even if you are vaccinated you are still going to have to wear a mask.
Oh, and I wonder if having people wearing masks, avoiding other people and getting an experimental gene therapy will weaken their immune systems so that they are more susceptible to the regular flu this winter? Styx seems to think so and recommends stocking up….
Check your food and your water capabilities, make sure your ammo cans are topped off and your weapons in good working condition.
Winter is coming.
yes x2 on beans n bullets. don't overlook hygiene and basic medical. soap for you, cloths & dishes. otc meds for wound care and assorted "digestive" issues. filters for drinking water too. most of us on alt sights have the protection angle covered though
I enjoy watching Styx as well.
A lot of us (guilty on this) are long on guns and short on the simple basics that can keep us alive. I need to rectify this.
He can be a little cringe and self-congratulatory but I watch most of his videos.
we going to need food and water more than bullets. or at least history says we will. every time it is a
bit different than each other. and it depends where you live as well, close to a big city= more bullets. rural area, not so much. it is simple really, more and closer people. you will need guns and bullets and FRIENDS WHO THINK LIKE YOU DO. a lot of people will learn the hard way that being civil for most is skin deep at best. and under that skin is a monster like of which you cannot image
say what you will about the "bible belt" but I rather be here than most areas of the country when shit goes south. people have and will do really bad things to each other when they are starving for food. something I saw and learned from a long time ago, and have never forgotten.
remember for close to 400 years in europe black pepper was worth as much as gold was. tells you something about the value of spices back then. gold and silver is great to have, but you can not eat it. unless you can trade it for food, not much good really. same as guns with ammo- just a fancy stick. back in the 1980's I had the chance to sit in for a army lecture on emp's. kind of doom porn
really, but the big take away I got from it was how fragile our country is. the basics was the food supply. the us has about 30-35 days worth at best. that everything, fields, grain storage, warehouses
stores, everything. without power, food starts going bad fast. without ships coming in with more,,
not a good outcome at all. think on feeding yourselves and a few others as this will keep people loyal to you when the time comes. a time will come when people will trade their toys for a meal or two. never thought I would see the day come here, but it is coming for sure the way things are going these days. stay safe if you can. this will not end well for most people.
O2 monitor. Clips to the end of your finger and usual cost under $20. Its a great diagnostic tool and fits in a pocket so its easy to toss in your med kit.
A friend called me over one night as the spouse was feeling unwell. The nearest hospital is an hour drive and during a blizzard its an issue. Tossed the unit on his finger and looked at his O2 levels. Then packed him into the 4×4 for a winter run to the hospital.
If your looking for basic gear to increase your survival chances.
Exile1981
Some of our close neighbors have O2 monitors but we really need one for ourselves.
Be sure to stock up on Ivermectin. You can get it at most farm & ranch supply stores. In a grid down and/or an empty supply chain situation, it will potentially be the literal difference between life and death for you and your loved ones. It will also become far more valuable than gold in a barter economy.
Scratch that, I guess we already have one plus a blood pressure cuff and other stuff my wife has squirreled away that I don't know about. Need to fix that too and get an inventory.
We were literally looking at ivermectin injectables when you comment came through.
Cattle in AZ are headed to OK, KS, TX, and NE. And they don't look good when the leave AZ.
The grazing ground there isn't great either, even if you go further north and the wheat crop is a trainwreck.
