Here are a few items to pass along for your perusal and edification.

First from The Organic Prepper:
Stuff discussed at Cyber Polygon tends to be realized and the topic this year as a “cyber pandemic”. Should a massive virus or cyber-attack take place, what would the response be?
The video goes on to state, “The only way to stop the exponential propagation of a COVID-like cyber threat is to fully disconnect the millions of vulnerable devices from one another and from the internet.”

One possible way would involve the use of an internet kill switch. Not only do those exist, but the US government has access to one. Theoretically, if you can turn off the internet, large segments of the population will be disconnected from one another. Meaning, what happens in one geographic region will go utterly unrecognized by citizens everywhere else.
How is your crypto going to work if the government just shuts off the internet? How are you going to know what is going on in the country if you can’t get online? Man, I really need to get a ham radio set up going.
NC Scout has a good intro to the question of an LPVO (low power variable optic) versus a red dot…
I am a big fan of the LPVO because I am also a big fan of keeping things simple. The more electronics and bells and whistles, the more things can go wrong. He makes a great point here:
Much of your equipment selection owes to the intended mission. You have to define exactly what that is. Red dots are geared towards speed for CQB-to-intermediate range targets, streamlining the aiming process by giving a consistent point of aim.
Using the right tool for the job. Something like a CMMG Banshee in .45 is great for a red dot. You won’t be shooting out too far with that, it is designed for close engagements that are quick. An LPVO is both kind of clunky and a little much for something like that but for an AR where your range of engagement might be 20 yards or it might be 200? The LPVO really shines. That is also why I am a big fan of back up iron sights on anything you do run a red dot on and especially with a quick detach so that if your red dot gets damaged you can pop it off quickly and go to the old fashioned sights. Iron sights are a lot better than trying to use a broken red dot.
Mike at Cold Fury has an important article:
At first blush it seems like no big deal, just some UN bureaucrats kvetching about “racism” but it is not a long walk from a couple of advisers to UN “peacekeepers” on the streets of America. I agree with Mike’s assessment here:
At the risk of making myself look even more foolish than I already do, I’ll state for the record that I’m quite sure that the abominable affront of our own fucking government *puke* bringing in proven-corrupt UN officials onto American soil for the purpose of “investigating” guiltless whypeepo on their innate and unacceptable RAYCISS!™ tendencies WILL bring direct and immediate consequences. Count on it.
For me, it would be hard to pull the trigger on a fellow American. Not impossible, but hard. But some third world douchebag UN blue helmet operating on American soil? Just the presence of such a person would be a hostile provocation and I wouldn’t have much trouble in expelling them from my country. Big Country Expat added a nice graphic:

A blast from the past from Kim du Toit at Splendid Isolation:
Here is the money quote:
When it comes to any analysis of the problems facing Africa, Western society, and particularly people from the United States, encounter a logical disconnect that makes clear analysis impossible. That disconnect is the way life is regarded in the West (it’s precious, must be protected at all costs etc.), compared to the way life, and death, are regarded in Africa. Let me try to quantify this statement.
In Africa, life is cheap.
Not only cheap but death means something quite different than it does in Western nations. While White people are capable of incredible violence and cruelty, we have over the centuries largely evolved out of wanton and chaotic violence just for the sake of it. RTWT. Giving African free shit doesn’t work, not in Africa, not in Haiti and not in Detroit. The opening of Black Hawk Down is a reminder of what happens to charity in Africa….
White nations have been pouring hundreds of billions into places like Africa and Haiti for decades and the money and aid just disappears. We can’t fix it:
The viciousness, the cruelty, the corruption, the duplicity, the savagery, and the incompetence is endemic to the entire continent, and is so much of an anathema to any right-thinking person that the civilized imagination simply stalls when faced with its ubiquity, and with the enormity of trying to fix it. The Western media shouldn’t even bother reporting on it. All that does is arouse our feelings of horror, and the instinctive need to do something, anything — but everything has been tried before, and failed. Everything, of course, except self-reliance.

All we should do is make sure that none of Africa gets transplanted over to the U.S., because the danger to our society is dire if it does. I note that several U.S. churches are attempting to bring groups of African refugees over to the United States, European churches the same for Europe. Mistake. Mark my words, this misplaced charity will turn around and bite us, big time.
That last sentence is proving itself true right before our eyes. If the South Africa situation gets worse, you can bet that there will be calls to open the floodgates for South African “refugees” (not Whites of course) who will get dumped into the interior and do what every African diaspora does in America: replicate the same shithole conditions they fled from in the first place.
Speaking of Africa, Big Country Expat says:
Hard to say but it might be the most humane thing. That continent has an exploding population thanks to the White world propping them up and subsidizing their high birth rate. The next few years promise the potential of a massive die-off in Africa that would make Ethiopia and Somalia pale in comparison.
Matt Bracken over at Gab has something to say about the expansion of the Capitol Police nationwide.

Finally more “vaccine” related news:

But 47 per cent of cases are among those who have received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine, surging upwards from around a quarter at the start of June.

This does not mean the jabs do not work. Scientists have always been honest that they are not perfect and millions will still be vulnerable to infection even after getting both doses.
The jab works, but you can still catch the ‘vid. Awesome, let me line up to get an experimental drug jabbed in me that won’t protect me from a disease with a 99.8% survival rate but a bunch of serious side-effects that are being underreported. No thanks.

When TPTB decided they would use the Section 8 program to attack White strongholds in America they realized that they didn't have enough homegrown blacks to have the desired effect but Mother Africa has an endless supply. I have seen African Africans living and "working"
even in remote areas like West Yellowstone, Montana. There is no way, in 10 million years, that someone from say Tanzania would ever move to one of the most remote towns in the Lower 48 States on their own. They are there on Uncle Sam's dime to let Whitey know that there will be no escape.
