Flee The Cities? Nah, It’ll Be Fine!

Or maybe not.

Digging further into his plans reveals some truly radical proposals. First, Bragg will immediately begin de-prosecuting certain offenses, refusing to punish violations of duly enacted criminal laws. These include resisting arrest, trespassing, fare evasion, marijuana possession, driving with a suspended license and any traffic violation.

For those offenses that are prosecuted, Bragg announced plans to allow just about every offender to walk free the same day. “Non-incarceration is the outcome for every case, except those with charges of homicide or the death of a victim, a class-B violent felony in which a deadly weapon causes serious physical injury or felony sex offenses,” his campaign materials read. Will offenders who shoot at people and miss, armed robbers who display a gun but don’t fire it, drug dealers and felons in possession of firearms all be released the same day they are arrested?
How can that backfire? Certainly decriminalizing resisting arrest won’t lead to more people…resisting arrest. How did a lot of the blacks who have been shot end up dead? They were resisting arrest. I am sure that encouraging people to resist arrest won’t a) result in more injuries to cops, making a dangerous job more dangerous and b) won’t result in more violent escalations that end up with serious injury or death. Refusing to punish people for traffic violations? Welcome to the Road Warrior meets Escape From New York. These are all crimes that lead to other, worse crimes but the new D.A. doesn’t seem to care about that.
Making it less safe for people to live in affluent and very expensive urban areas is working well around the country.

Almost half of San Francisco residents are planning on moving out of the city due to rising crime and a deteriorating quality of life, according to a recent poll.

The poll of 500 San Franciscans, commissioned by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, showed that just over 40% of residents plan to move out of the city in the next few years.

Additionally, 8 out of 10 people polled said crime has increased in the city, and almost 90% of those polled said they believe that the homeless crisis has gotten worse. Roughly three-quarters of residents in San Francisco said their quality of life has declined over the past year.
The stores closing in San Francisco are also clearly just being racist, there is no crime problem in the city…

Instead of joggers or “teens”, you can just say “Neiman Marcus shoppers” We will know what you mean.
On the bright side, all of these leftists fleeing the shitholes they helped create will move to a town near you where they will repeat the same process and allow you to enjoy the fruits of diversity. It’s our greatest strength after all.

I guess purse snatching is their idea of "shovel ready jobs". The EXACT same crime happened at the high-end mall across the street from my facility (roughly 25 miles south of SF) less than a month ago. A dozen "citizens" ran in and grabbed a bunch of bags and jogged out to several different cars to escape. The store claimed $100k-$150k in losses. The brazenness is shocking but no consequences have befallen the perps so expect more of the same.
As far as I'm concerned, these crimes accelerate the fall and I welcome it. These fools think they can do whatever they want (and thus far, its true) but they dont know when to quit. The crash and consequent backlash will be spectacular!

The people who shop at Neiman also probably voted for Biden so screw 'em. When I was a young lad I worked at a store in a mall with Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom as the anchors. Anytime any blacks showed up, security just followed them around being really obvious until they left. It was a very nice place to shop.

this is not going to end well for them in the long run. soon no stores will even think of opening inside a city. we are well on our way to becoming a third world shithole. fast. so move out, learn to grow your own food, learn to shoot. learn how to keep yourself safe, no one is coming to save us.
we have to do it ourselves. it not going to be easy for us anytime soon.

Can we wall off these cities? Make the people who voted for this crap stay and suffer for there stupidity?

Its part of the push to make all shopping online. From the business perspective it prevents shoplifting, cheaper locations and cheaper staff.

From a government perspective its easier to trsck your purchases.

I'm betting you're familiar with The Critical Drinker on YouTube….

On the topic of shithole creating-then-fleeing leftists, it's just like what they taught us about cancer. You're fucked if you let it (much less help it) to spread. "So, should we do open surgical biopsy or less-invasive needle biopsy?" Waaal, depends on the kind of cancer, but for some tumors, the last thing you want to do is to suck part of it out and then drag cells through the needle track. More brutal initially, but much better outcomes if you cut the person open and remove the damned thing all in one piece. This is where the analogy breaks down. The equivalent of open surgery and en bloc removal is certain to be illegal. And there will be disparate impact if you truly selectively target the primary troublemakers.

The question about turning great cities into shitholes through lack of policing: Is it a) diabolical plan to destroy American cities for good, b) misguided but genuinely sincere attempt to Repair the World, c) long-term plan to crash urban property values so that certain people can swoop in to buy said distressed properties at great discount, in anticipation of revival decades later.
