This seems like reasonable rhetoric from the mayor of the largest city in America….
Gov. Cuomo: Trump ‘Better Have an Army if He Thinks He’s Gonna Walk Down the Street in New York’
Here is what he specifically said.
“He better have an army if he thinks he’s gonna walk down the street in New York. New Yorkers don’t want to have anything to do with him,” Cuomo said in an apparently threatening manner during a press conference following the review’s approval, a move which was first reported by the New York Post.
“He can’t have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City. People don’t want to have anything to do with him,” the Democrat governor added.
Andrew Cuomo is saying that New York is dangerous for the native New Yorker President of the United States.
Trump: Cities like New York are lawless!
Cuomo: You can’t say that about our city and if you come here you will need an army because our city is so lawless and dangerous!
Maybe someone needs to pull Andy aside and tell him.
Imagine if the mayor of Salt Lake City or Boise had said that it wasn’t safe for President Obama to visit their city because people in their city hated Obama so much they were likely to engage in violence.
2020 is shaping up to the the first election that….
a) I have zero confidence in a fair and free election and that I already don’t trust the results.
b) Is quite likely to lead to a violent confrontation regardless of who wins.
How delightful!
The funny thing is all the Left had to do was put up with Trump for one, maybe two terms and they'd have secured the U.S. through the ballot box (rigged or otherwise).
They still will, the die is cast on that issue thanks to demographics. They would have preferred to have someone like Jeb! captain the GOP one last time but the end result is going to be the same.
