Horsepower!

Even in 2020, sometimes the old ways work best. For example, if you are logging some timber and need to pull the logs out of the woods, it can be tough to get machinery to the logs thanks to the other tress and muddy conditions. But draft horses? They can fit in places where machines can’t and often are better suited to slick conditions. Some of our Amish friends are cutting down some trees and hauling them out so I took some pictures to share here. Enjoy!

The brown horse on the left is a young Belgian stallion. The grey horse on the right is an older Percheron gelding who takes no crap from the stallion.
