Wake Me When It Is Over

So Trump was “impeached” yesterday and the nation collectively yawned. Sure, some liberals got all excited and many no doubt engaged in some “self-care” over it but the rest of the country didn’t pay much attention. Why would we? This is a sham and a farce. The entire proceeding have made a mockery of the already farcical United States government and turned yet another word, “impeach”, into just another meaningless term like “racism” and “justice”. This was not an “impeachment” in the sense of a dire, last resort move by one branch to remove a law-breaking President. This was a political maneuver that was predetermined from the moment Trump was elected, before he was even sworn in. It was an “impeachment” in search of a crime, a search that never turned up anything but went through anyway.

When Bill Clinton was impeached for the actual crime of perjury, it was a serious moment for the nation and many of the same Democrats pushing this “impeachment” decried it as a partisan effort. This is

According to the Constitutional process, the articles of “impeachment” now are supposed to go to the Senate. However wizened old bat Nancy Pelosi might delay sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate until she gets assurances of a “fair trial”. What that means is anyone’s guess but I assume what she really wants are assurances of a unanimous conviction by the Senate.

“Let me tell you what I don’t consider a fair trial,” she told the crowd of reporters. “This is what I don’t consider a fair trial — that Leader McConnell has stated that he’s not an impartial juror, that he’s going to take his cues, in quotes, from the White House, and he is working in total coordination with the White House counsel’s office.”

The audacity of Nancy accusing Mitch McConnell of failing to be “impartial” when everyone knows the outcome of the House “impeachment” was set before the first minute of hearings were held would be outrageous from anyone but a politician. It must be all of the Botox that allows her to say stuff like that without bursting into laughter. The delay is just another bit of showmanship, the Senate is not going to remove Trump from office so delaying the articles just pushes it out of the news cycle since it is backfiring so badly.

While I remain very skeptical that Trump will be re-elected, if he does win a second term it will be directly as a result of this overreach by Nancy Pelosi, bug-eyed Adam Schiff and that obese little goblin Jerry Nadler. They couldn’t control their most radical members so they finally held their little show trial to placate people like brother marrying Ilhan Omar and Rashida “Impeach the mother effer” Tlaib and it might prove to be what pushes Trump into a second term.

On the bright side, this “impeachment” will serve as a new gold standard by which to measure whether someone is a serious person or an utter imbecile. If someone thinks that Trump did something that warranted “impeachment”, you can safely assume that the person is a dolt and probably should be sterilized. At the very least you should treat anything they say as seriously as you treat anything a toddler says.

Don’t think for a second this is the end of it. The Left is convinced that Trump has to be removed, and having been stymied yet again and with virtually no semi-legal means to pursue removal, it remains to be seen what exactly they are willing to do. The thought of Trump getting a second shot at election, especially opposed by dementia patient Joe Biden, is terrifying to them. Most of them won’t be able to handle a second Trump victory so perhaps they will decide to get this party started and get even more violent.

We can only hope.

I've seen (from the data I look at) a big jump in September, and now a collective 'meh' – the people arguing for impeachment aren't serious. They don't believe they'll be successful.

A second Trump term will make no difference at this point.
    There is no wall.
Demographic replacement continues apace. This will not be solved by the ballot box.
